BECAS PARA EL INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL UNIVERSIDAD DE OSLO, NORUEGA Estimados y estimadas estudiantes: La Universidad de Oslo, Noruega, invita a los y las estudiantes de la Universidad de Costa Rica (de bachillerato, licenciatura o maestra) a participar por una de las becas al International Summer School, que se llevar a cabo en Agosto del 2014. Quienes deseen participar, debern de seguir las instrucciones indicadas en la pgina web del programa: http://www.uio.no/english/studies/summerschool. Dado que se dar prioridad a quienes provengan de universidades socias en Amrica Latina, la UCR debe de enviar una lista de participantes a ms tardar el viernes 24 de enero. Por lo tanto, los y las candidatas debern de enviar al correo electrnico seme.oai@ucr.ac.cr, antes del 24 de enero (a pesar de que la fecha lmite para inscribirse en el programa es el 1 de febrero), los siguientes datos: Nombre completo Edad Carrera Ao de carrera Curso especfico del ISS al que desea concursar Nmero de telfono Nivel de idioma ingls y tipo de comprobante de idioma que presentar Certificacin de notas actualizada, escaneada que indique el promedio ponderado total y las calificaciones obtenidas en el segundo semestre 2013 (pueden tambin enviar capturas de pantalla de Ematrcula).

El envo de estos datos NO SUSTITUYE EL PROCESO DE APLICACIN QUE DEBEN DE REALIZAR SIGUIENDO LAS INSTRUCCIONES EN LA PGINA WEB DEL ISS. Como vern, la beca no incluye el pasaje areo, pero quienes reciban la beca, podrn solicitar ayuda parcial para el boleto, una vez que sean admitidos(as).

A continuacin encontrarn ms informacin enviada por la Universidad de Oslo: The University of Oslo (UiO) appreciates the partnerships we have established in LatinAmerica and would very much like to strengthen the ties between our institutions. It is therefore a great pleasure to announce that we are able to offer 5 scholarships to students from Latin-America who would like to attend our International Summer School. The scholarship of NOK 21.600/USD 3870 each will cover the basic fees such as class participation, room and board, one weekend excursion and some extracurricular activities and health insurance. The scholarship does not cover the airfare and pocket money. The International Summer School (ISS) offers intensive Masters and Bachelors courses for credits over six weeks. ISS welcomes more than 500 students from nearly 100 countries from late June to early August. You will find more information about admission procedures and admission requirements on the following website: http://www.uio.no/english/studies/summerschool/ ISS admits students once a year to its six week summer programme. The deadline for scholarship applications is 1 February. The students will simultaneously choose their classes and apply for admission to the ISS. The online pre-application forms will be accessible from November 15, on this page: www.uio.no/english/studies/summerschool/admission. Please note that priority will be given to students applying for Masters courses. NB! We kindly ask that the students specify in their pre-application form that they attend a Latin American University with a UiO partnership.
