La obra se desarrolla en un pueblo rural donde una Mara una madre de familia que esta triste ya que su esposo muri al intentar cruzar a los Estados Unidos, sus dos Jacinto y Pablo; Pablo el menor vive con su mama Mara y l estudia, trabaja y ayuda a su mama todo esto porque Jacinto el mayor se fue a los Estados Unidos, no les ha enviado dinero y su familia no lo ha visto en 3 aos. Un da Jacinto le habla a su mama y le dice que va a ir a visitarlos y Mara prepara un conejo y un guajolote para comer en eso Pablo ya se iba a la escuela pero su mama le dice que por favor se quede con ella ya que ella no se espera como pueda llegar su hijo Jacinto de los Estados Unidos y ella tiene miedo de cmo se ver Jacinto. Pablo acepta quedarse a esperar a su Jacinto entonces Jacinto llega y su mama se queda impactada ya que su hijo Jacinto haba cambiado mucho su ropa no era la misma, ni su forma de hablar y su carcter haba cambiado y Jacinto habla combinando idiomas y su Pablo que saba ingles le dice a Jacinto que si saba hablar ingls y l le responde que si pero su mama no entiende ya que ellos en ese momento hablaban en ingle. En ese momento llegan sus primos (Alexis y Greis) y la novia de su primo (Ins) a visitar a Mara y le preguntan a Jacinto como le haba ido y l les dice que les dicen Black Face y que en su trabajo los explotan all entra el maestro de Pablo a preguntarle por qu no haba ido a clases y l le dice que porque estaba esperando a su hermano entonces su Mara le pregunta porque Jacinto combinaba el ingls y el espaol all el profesor le explica el por qu y el maestro se marcha Jacinto, Pablo y su Mara se quedan solos por un momento y Mara le dice a Jacinto que por que no se queda a vivir ay y Jacinto le dice que no que el solo regreso para llevarse a su hermano, llevarse a Lupe (una mujer que segn l le quito Salustiano) y traer dinero y su mama le dice que no. Despus ya llegan sus primos para ponerse de acuerdo para ir a una disco entonces ellos van le piden al mesero Gernimo unos tragos y se ponen a tomar mucho Ins y Jacinto y ellos preguntan por qu en esa disco no haba gente, l dice que porque todos se haban ido a otra discoteca luego llega Salustiano y se pone a platicar con Jacinto, sus primos se van y Ins ve al bao entonces ellos se quedan a reprochar cosas y se ponen violentas y Salustiano mata a Jacinto.

COMENTARIOS En la obra Mara no le entenda a Jacinto algunas palabras ya que l hablaba algo que se llama spanglish ya que ella no saba ingls y esto le produca problemas con los dems ya que el combinaba ingles con espaol y lo combinaba a su modo y menos le entendan despus se acostumbr al entorno y ms o menos hablaba bien. Nos habla de la importancia del ingls en la vida actual.

COMMENTS

On the work Maria couldn't Jacinto few words since he spoke something called spanglish since she did not know English and this resulted in problems with others since the it combining English with Spanish and combined it to its own way and less understand you then you got used to the environment and spoke more or less well. Speaks of the importance of English in the present life.
