3. CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES

Cuando se utilizan aparatos elctricos, se deben respetar las medidas bsicas de seguridad, para reducir el riesgo de incendios, choque elctrico y/o daos a personas. Entre estas medidas se incluyen las siguientes: Antes de utilizar el aparato por primera vez, lea detenidamente estas instrucciones y gurdelas para posteriores consultas. Antes del primer uso, compruebe que la tensin de la red coincide con la indicada en la placa de caractersticas del aparato. Este aparato est concebido solo para uso domstico. Cualquier otro uso se considera inapropiado y peligroso. La seguridad elctrica del aparato se garantiza solamente en caso de que est conectado a una instalacin de tierra eficaz tal como prevn las vigentes normas de seguridad elctrica. El fabricante no puede ser considerado responsable de daos derivados de la falta de toma de tierra de la instalacin. En

DE QUEMADURAS, INCENDIOS Y DEMS DAOS A PERSONAS O PROPIEDADES POR EL CONTACTO CON LOS LADOS O LA PARTE SUPERIOR DEL APARATO DURANTE SU UTILIZACIN O EL ENFRIAMIENTO DEL MISMO. No utilice este aparato al aire libre. Desenchufe el aparato cuando no lo vaya a utilizar o cuando vaya a proceder a cualquier operacin de mantenimiento o limpieza del mismo. Espere a que el aparato se enfre completamente antes de proceder a su limpieza y almacenamiento. No utilice abrasivos, ni limpiadores custicos ni de hornos para limpiar el aparato. No utilice utensilios metlicos sobre las placas calefactoras ya que se podra daar su recubrimiento antiadherente. Cuando vaya a utilizar el aparato deje un espacio de aire suficiente encima y a los lados para la correcta circulacin del aire. Durante la utilizacin no permita que entre en contacto con cortinas, papeles pintados, ropa, paos de cocina y dems materiales inflamables. Nota: En superficies en las que el calor puede resultar un problema, se recomienda utilizar una almohadilla termoasilante.

4. ANTES DE PRIMER USO

Antes del primer uso, familiarcese con el grill, ponindolo en las distintas posiciones y cambiando las placas, estando el aparato desenchufado. Limpie las superficies de las placas con un pao hmedo y deje secar. Unte las placas con aceite de ensalada. 1. APERTURA Y POSICIONES DEL GRILL Para abrir el grill, desenganche previamente el pestillo (f) que se encuentra en el asa superior (e), sacndolo de su alojamiento hasta la posicin intermedia. (Fig. 2) Placas perpendiculares Partiendo de la posicin de cerrado y con el pestillo en posicin intermedia,

abra el grill haciendo girar la cubierta superior hacia atrs hasta que haga tope. (Fig. 3) Esta posicin de trabajo se utiliza cuando se prefiere que la placa superior no entre en contacto con los alimentos. Adaptable a la forma del alimento Partiendo de la posicin del apartado anterior, placas perpendiculares, coloque el alimento en la placa inferior y cierre el grill bajando suavemente la cubierta superior hasta que apoye sobre el alimento. Esta posicin se utiliza para grillar y dorar simultneamente las dos caras de los alimentos. Placas paralelas Abra el grill ponindolo en la posicin de placas perpendiculares, coloque los alimentos en la placa inferior y tire hacia arriba la cubierta superior hasta que haga tope y seguido, hgala girar hacia delante hasta que quede apoyada. De esta forma la placa superior queda suspendida sobre la inferior. (Fig. 4) Esta posicin se utiliza para gratinar, recalentar y en general para utilizar el grill como si de un horno tradicional se tratase. Placas abiertas 180 Estando el grill cerrado, levante el pestillo de cierre y apoyo (f), ponindola en posicin vertical y bloquela presionndola hacia abajo. Abra el grill poniendo las placas perpendiculares y desde esta posicin, tire hacia arriba la cubierta superior hasta que haga tope y seguido, gire la cubierta hacia atrs, hasta que el pestillo asiente en la mesa o encimera. Para desbloquear el pestillo, tire de l hacia arriba hasta que haga tope, y grelo a la posicin intermedia o de cerrado. Esta posicin se utiliza para grillar el doble de alimentos de una sola vez, disponiendo del doble de superficie. (Fig. 5).

5. FUNCIONAMIENTO
Coloque el grill en una superficie plana horizontal, resistente al calor y alejado del borde de la mesa o encimera. No deje que el cable cuelgue por el borde de la mesa o encimera y no lo pase por debajo del grill. Enchufe el aparato y seleccione la temperatura de coccin deseada mediante el selector de temperatura (c). Dicho selector dispone de una posicin de paro (0), y de 5 opciones de coccin para determinar una mayor o menor temperatura segn el alimento que vaya a cocinar. La luz del indicador luminoso de funcionamiento (b), se encender al conectar el aparato cuando el selector de temperatura est colocada en cualquier posicin del 1 al 5. Se apagar cuando las placas hayan alcanzado la temperatura seleccionada. A partir de este momento, el grill se conectar y desconectar automticamente para mantener constante la temperatura de las placas. A su vez la luz del indicador de funcionamiento se encender y apagar regularmente. Una vez que las placas han alcanzado la temperatura seleccionada, elija la posicin de trabajo de las placas, segn lo descrito en el apartado anterior y coloque los alimentos sobre ellas. ATENCIN: UTILICE SOLO LAS ASAS PARA MANIPULAR EL GRILL. NO TOQUE AL APARATO CUANDO ESTA EN FUNCIONAMIENTO YA QUE EXISTE RIESGO DE QUEMADURAS. El tiempo de preparacin para confeccionar los alimentos, puede variar en funcin del tipo de alimentos y de su gusto personal. Por esto, es conveniente que inicialmente, vigile la coccin hasta que establezca sus propios tiempos. Algunas piezas internas del grill han sido ligeramente engrasadas y, debido a ello, el grill puede humear un poco al ponerlo en funcionamiento por primera vez, aunque ello cesar al poco rato.

6. CONSEJOS PRCTICOS
No utilice objetos metlicos o puntiagudos para manipular los alimentos a cocinar, ya que podran daar el recubrimiento antiadherente de las placas. Procure que los alimentos estn cortados uniformemente, para conseguir una adecuada coccin. Si desea una marca en forma de rejilla, deber girar el alimento a la mitad del tiempo de coccin. Si el alimento suelta mucha grasa, deber colocar un recipiente debajo del rebosadero (i), para evitar que se ensucie la mesa o encimera. Por regla general, se recomienda salar el pescado antes de asarlo, y la carne despus. Limpie la carne o pescado con un pao hmedo y a continuacin squelos bien, ya que de lo contrario, el agua influir negativamente en la transmisin de calor. Es conveniente untar las placas con un poco de margarina o aceite de ensalada.

7. MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA
Antes de proceder a la limpieza del grill, desenchufe el aparato y djelo enfriar completamente. Cuando se haya enfriado, pase un pao hmedo con detergente no abrasivo por ambas placas. Limpie las partes exteriores del aparato con un pao hmedo y suave. Si considera necesario limpiar las placas ms intensamente, squelas del grill soltando los clips de enganche de las placas (Fig. 6) y djelas a remojo durante algunas horas. Tambin se pueden lavar en el lavavajillas. No utilice estropajos metlicos ni abrasivos para no daar el revestimiento antiadherente de las placas. NO INTRODUZCA EL APARATO EN AGUA NI EN NINGN OTRO LQUIDO NI LO PONGA BAJO EL GRIFO.

8. ALMACENAMIENTO
El grill puede ser almacenado en posicin vertical. Para ello enrolle el cable sobre los pies de apoyo, y coloque siempre el pestillo de cierre en la posicin de cerrado.

9. INFORMACIN PARA LA CORRECTA GESTIN DE LOS RESIDUOS DE APARATOS ELCTRICOS Y ELECTRNICOS

Al final de la vida til del aparato, ste no debe eliminarse mezclado con los residuos domsticos generales. Puede entregarse, sin coste alguno, en centros especficos de recogida, diferenciados por las administraciones locales, o distribuidores que faciliten este servicio. Eliminar por separado un residuo de electrodomstico, significa evitar posibles consecuencias negativas para el medio ambiente y la salud, derivadas de una eliminacin inadecuada, y permite un tratamiento, y reciclado de los materiales que lo componen, obteniendo ahorros importantes de energa y recursos. Para subrayar la obligacin de colaborar con una recogida selectiva, en el producto aparece el marcado que se muestra como advertencia de la no utilizacin de contenedores tradicionales para su eliminacin. EVITAR O RISCO DE QUEIMADURAS, INCNDIOS E DEMAIS DANOS A PESSOAS OU PROPRIEDADES PELO CONTACTO COM OS LADOS OU A PARTE SUPERIOR DO APARELHO DURANTE A SUA UTILIZAO OU O ESFRIAMIENTO DO MESMO. No utilize este aparelho ao ar livre. Desligue o aparelho quando o no utilizar ou quando proceder a qualquer operao de manuteno ou limpeza do mesmo. Espere que o aparelho esfrie completamente antes de proceder sua limpeza e armazenamento. No utilize abrasivos, nem limpadores custicos nem de fornos para limpar o aparelho. No utilize utenslios metlicos sobre as placas aquecedoras j que podero danificar o seu recobrimento antiaderente. 4. ANTES DA PRIMEIRA UTILIZAO

Antes da primeira utilizao, familiarize com o grelhador, colocando-o nas diferentes posies e mudando as placas, estando o aparelho desligado. Limpe as superfcies das placas com um pano hmido e deixe secar. Unte as placas com azeite para saladas. 1. ABERTURA E POSIES DO GRELHADOR Para abrir o grelhador, desengate previamente o trinco (f) que se encontra na aba superior (e), retirando-o do seu alojamento at posio intermdia. (Fig. 2) Placas perpendiculares Partindo da posio de fechado e com

o trinco em posio intermdia, abra o grelhador fazendo rodar a cobertura superior at atrs at que bata. (Fig. 3) Esta posio de trabalho utilizada quando se prefere que a placa superior no entre em contacto com os alimentos. Adaptvel forma do alimento Partindo da posio do ponto anterior, placas perpendiculares, coloque o alimento na placa inferior e feche o grelhador baixando suavemente a cobertura superior at que apoie sobre o alimento. Esta posio utilizada para grelhar e dourar simultaneamente as duas faces dos alimentos. Placas paralelas Abra o grelhador colocando-o na posio de placas perpendiculares, coloque os alimentos na placa inferior e tire at cima a cobertura superior at que bata e em seguida, faa-a rodar at frente at que fique apoiada. Desta forma a placa superior fica suspensa sobre a inferior. (Fig. 4) Esta posio utilizada para gratinar, voltar a aquecer e em geral para utilizar o grelhador como se de um forno tradicional se tratasse. Placas abertas 180 Estando o grelhador fechado, levante o trinco de fecho e apoio (f), colocando-o em posio vertical e bloqueie-o pressionando-o at baixo. Abra o grelhador colocando as placas perpendiculares e desde esta posio, tire at cima a cobertura superior at que bata e em seguida, rode a cobertura at atrs, at que o trinco assente na mesa ou local de cozedura. Para desbloquear o trinco, tire dele at cima at que bata, e rode-o posio intermdia ou de fechado. Esta posio utilizada para grelhar o dobro de alimentos de uma s vez, dispondo do dobre de superfcie. (Fig. 5)

5. FUNCIONAMENTO
Coloque o grelhador numa superfcie plana horizontal, resistente ao calor e afastado da extremidade da mesa ou local de cozedura. No deixe que o cabo fique pendurado na mesa ou local de cozedura e no o passe por baixo do grelhador. Ligue o aparelho e seleccione a temperatura de cozedura desejada mediante o selector de temperatura (c). Este selector dispe de uma posio de paragem (0), e de 5 opes de cozedura para determinar uma maior ou menor temperatura segundo o alimento que vai cozinhar. A luz do indicador luminoso de funcionamento (b), acender-se- ao ligar o aparelho quando o selector de temperatura estiver colocado em qualquer posio do 1 ao 5. Apagar-se- quando as placas tiverem alcanado a temperatura seleccionada. A partir deste momento, o grelhador ligar e desligar automaticamente para manter constante a temperatura das placas. Por sua vez a luz do indicador de funcionamento acender-se- e apagar regularmente. Assim que as placas tenham alcanado a temperatura seleccionada, seleccione a posio de trabalho das placas, segundo o descrito no ponto anterior e coloque os alimentos sobre elas. ATENO: UTILIZE SOMENTE AS ABAS PARA MANIPULAR O GRELHADOR. NO TOQUE NO APARELHO QUANDO ESTIVER EM FUNCIONAMENTO J QUE EXISTE RISCO DE QUEIMADURAS. O tempo de preparao para confeccionar os alimentos, pode variar em funo do tipo de alimentos e do seu gosto pessoal. Por isto, conveniente que inicialmente, vigie a cozedura at que estabelea os seus prprios tempos. Algumas peas internas do grelhador foram ligeiramente lubrificadas e, devido a isso, o grelhador pode humedecer um pouco ao coloc-lo em funcionamento pela primeira vez, e cessar em pouco tempo.

6. CONSELHOS PRTICOS
No utilize objectos metlicos ou pontiagudos para manipular os alimentos a cozinhar, j que podero danificar o recobrimento anti-aderente das placas. Procure que os alimentos estejam cortados uniformemente, para conseguir uma cozedura adequada. Se desejar uma marca em forma de rede, dever rodar o alimento metade do tempo de cozedura. Se o alimento largar muita gordura, dever colocar um recipiente por baixo da calha (i), para evitar que suje a mesa ou local de cozedura. Por regra geral, recomenda-se colocar o sal no peixe antes de ass-lo, e a carne depois. Limpe a carne ou peixe com um pano hmido e em seguida seque-os bem, j que caso contrrio, a gua influir negativamente na transmisso de calor. conveniente untar as placas com um pouco de margarina ou azeite para saladas.

7. MANUTENO E LIMPEZA
Antes de proceder limpeza do grelhador, desligue o aparelho e deixe-o esfriar completamente. Quando tiver esfriado, passe um pano hmido com detergente no abrasivo por ambas as placas. Limpe as partes exteriores do aparelho com um pano hmido e suave. Considera-se necessrio limpar as placas de forma mais intensa, retire-as do grelhador soltando os clipes de engate das placas (Fig. 6) e deixe-as a amolecer durante algumas horas. Tambm se podem lavar na mquina de lavar a loua. No utilize esfreges metlicos nem abrasivos para no danificar o revestimento anti-aderente das placas. NO INTRODUZA O APARELHO EM GUA NEM EM NENHUM OUTRO LQUIDO NEM O COLOQUE POR BAIXO DA TORNEIRA.

8. ARMAZENAMENTO
O grelhador pode ser armazenado em posio vertical. Para isso enrole o cabo sobre os ps de apoio, e coloque sempre o trinco de fecho na posio de fechado.

9. INFORMAO PARA A GESTO CORRECTA DOS RESDUOS DE APARELHOS ELCTRICOS E ELECTRNICOS

No fim da sua vida til, o produto no deve ser eliminado juntamente com os resduos urbanos. Pode ser depositado nos centros especializados de recolha diferenciada das autoridades locais ou, ento, nos revendedores que forneam este servio. Eliminar separadamente um electrodomstico permite evitar possveis consequncias negativas para o ambiente e para a sade pblica resultantes de uma eliminao inadequada, alm de que permite recuperar os materiais constituintes para, assim, obter uma importante poupana de energia e de recursos. Para sublinhar a obrigao de colaborar com uma recolha selectiva, no produto aparece a marcao que se apresenta como advertncia da no utilizao de contentores tradicionais para a sua eliminao. 4. BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Before using for the first time, take a moment to become familiar with your grill, setting it to the different positions and changing the plaques while still unplugged. Clean the surfaces of the plaques with a damp cloth and leave to dry. Grease the plaques using salad oil. 1. OPENING THE GRILL AND SETTING TO THE DIFFERENT POSITIONS To open the grill, release the catch (f) on the upper handle (e), removing it from its housing to its intermediate position. (Fig. 2) Perpendicular plaques With the grill closed and the catch in its intermediate position, open the grill by lifting the upper cover up as far as it will go. (Fig. 3) This working position is used when you do not want the upper plaque to come into contact with the food. Adapts to the shape of the food With the grill in the position described above (perpendicular plaques), place the food on the lower plaque and close the grill by gently lowering the upper cover until it rests on the food. This position is used for grilling and browning both sides of the food at the same time. Parallel plaques Open the grill by placing it in the perpendicular plaque position, place the food on the lower plaque and lift

the upper cover up as far as it will go, before folding it down once again until it rests firmly on its supports. The upper plaque is thus suspended directly over the lower one. (Fig. 4) This position is used for au gratin dishes, reheating and, in general, for using the grill like a conventional oven. 180 open plaques With the grill closed, lift the closing and support catch (f), place in its vertical position and lock in place by pressing the plaque downwards. Open the grill by placing the plaques in their perpendicular position and then pull the upper cover upwards as far as it will go and then lift backwards until the catch rests on the table or worksurface. To lock the catch in place, pull it up as far as it will go, and place it in its intermediate or closed position. This position is used for grilling twice the amount of food in one go, since double the surface area is made available. (Fig. 5)

5. OPERATION
Place the grill on a flat, smooth, heatresistant surface, far from the edge of the table or worksurface. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the table or worksurface, nor pass under the grill. Plug the appliance in and select the cooking temperature desired using the temperature selector (c). This selector has one off position (0) and 5 cooking options to enable the user to choose the correct temperature depending on the type of food to be prepared. The appliance ON pilot light (b) switches on when the appliance is plugged in and the temperature selector is set to a position between 1 and 5, and switches off when the plaques have reached the selected temperature. From this moment onwards, the grill will switch on and off automatically in order to maintain a constant temperature in the plaques. The pilot light will also switch on and off regularly.

Once the plaques have reached the selected temperature, choose the required working position in accordance with that described in the section above and place the food on them. WARNING: USE ONLY THE HANDLES PROVIDED TO MOVE THE GRILL. DO NOT TOUCH THE APPLIANCE WHILE IT IS SWITCHED ON, SINCE THERE IS A RISK OF BURNS. Cooking time may vary depending both on the type of food and personal taste. For this reason, we recommend that initially, you monitor the cooking process closely in order to establish your own set of cooking times. Some internal parts of the grill have been lightly greased. As a result, the grill may become a little damp when switched on for the first time, although this dampness should disappear before long.

Once cooled, wipe both plaques with a damp soapy cloth (do not use abrasive detergent). Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp soft cloth. If you need to clean the plaques more thoroughly, remove them from the grill by releasing the attachment clips (Fig. 6) and leave them to soak for a few hours. The plaques can also be washed in the dishwasher. Do not use metal or abrasive scourers as this may damage the plaques non-stick coating. DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID OR PLACE IT UNDER THE TAP.

8. STORAGE
The grill can be stored in an upright position. To do so, roll the cable around the feet and place the closing catch in its closed position.

6. PRACTICAL ADVICE
Do not use metal objects or sharp utensils when handling food, since this may damage the non-stick coating. Try to ensure that the food is cut up in a uniform manner, in order to enable proper cooking. If you want to leave grid-shaped marks on the food, you should turn it half way through the cooking process. If the food releases a lot of fat, place a recipient underneath the catch-tray (i) to avoid dirtying the table or worktop. As a general rule, we recommend that you season fish before cooking, and season meat afterwards. Clean the meat or fish with a damp cloth and then dry well, otherwise the water will have a negative effect on the heat transfer process. We recommend that you grease the plaques with a little margarine or salad oil.

AU CONTACT AVEC LES CTS OU LA PARTIE SUPRIEURE DE LAPPAREIL, DURANT SON UTILISATION OU SON REFROIDISSEMENT. Nutilisez pas cet appareil en plein air. 4. AVANT DE LUTILISER POUR LA PREMIRE FOIS

Avant la premire utilisation, familiarisez-vous avec le gril, en essayant les diffrentes positions et en changeant les plaques. Faites-le avec lappareil dbranch. Nettoyez les surfaces des plaques laide dun chiffon humide et laissez-les scher. talez de lhuile pour salade sur les plaques. 1. OUVERTURE ET POSITIONS DU GRIL Pour ouvrir le gril, commencez par ouvrir le cliquet (f) qui se trouve sur la poigne suprieure (e), en le sortant de son logement jusqu la position intermdiaire (Fig. 2). Plaques perpendiculaires En partant de la position de fermeture et avec le cliquet en position intermdiaire, ouvrez le gril en faisant tourner le

couvercle suprieur vers larrire jusquau butoir (Fig. 3). Vous utiliserez cette position de travail si vous prfrez que la plaque suprieure nentre pas en contact avec les aliments. Adaptable la forme de laliment. En partant de la position du paragraphe prcdent, cest--dire des plaques perpendiculaires, mettez laliment sur la plaque infrieure et fermez le gril en baissant doucement le couvercle suprieur jusqu le poser sur laliment. Cette position est utilise pour griller et dorer simultanment les deux faces des aliments. Plaques parallles Ouvrez le gril en le mettant sur la position plaques perpendiculaires, mettez les aliments sur la plaque infrieure et levez le couvercle suprieur jusquau butoir, puis faites-le tourner vers lavant jusqu ce quil soit bien appuy. De cette faon la plaque suprieure reste suspendue au-dessus de la plaque infrieure (Fig. 4). Vous utiliserez cette position pour gratiner, rchauffer et, en gnral, pour utiliser le gril comme sil sagissait dun four traditionnel. Plaques ouvertes 180 Le gril ferm, levez le cliquet de fermeture et dappui (f), en choisissant la position verticale et bloquez-le en appuyant dessus vers le bas. Ouvrez le gril en mettant les plaques perpendiculaires. Dans cette position, tirez vers le haut le couvercle suprieur jusquau butoir, puis tournez le couvercle vers larrire, jusqu ce que le cliquet repose sur la table ou le plan de travail. Pour dbloquer le cliquet, tirez dessus vers le haut jusquau butoir, et tournezle sur la position intermdiaire ou de fermeture. Vous utiliserez cette position pour griller deux fois plus daliments dun seul coup, en disposant ainsi dune surface double (Fig. 5).

5. FONCTIONNEMENT
Placez le gril sur une surface plane horizontale, rsistante la chaleur et loignez-le du bord de la table ou du plan de travail. Ne laissez pas le cble pendre sur le bord de la table ou du plan de travail et ne le passez pas sous le gril. Branchez lappareil et slectionnez la temprature de cuisson souhaite laide du thermostat (c). Ce thermostat est dot dune position darrt (0) et de 5 options de cuisson, pour choisir une temprature plus leve ou plus faible en fonction de laliment que vous souhaitez cuisiner. Une fois lappareil branch, le tmoin de fonctionnement (b) sallumera, lorsque vous aurez slectionn lune des positions du thermostat numrotes de 1 5. Il steindra lorsque les plaques auront atteint la temprature choisie. partir de ce moment-l, le gril sallumera et steindra automatiquement pour maintenir la temprature des plaques constante. Et le tmoin de fonctionnement sallumera et steindra donc rgulirement. Une fois que les plaques auront atteint la temprature slectionne, choisissez la position de travail des plaques, tel que dcrite dans le paragraphe prcdent, et dposez dessus les aliments. ATTENTION: UTILISEZ UNIQUEMENT LES POIGNES POUR MANIPULER LE GRIL. NE TOUCHEZ PAS LAPPAREIL LORSQUIL EST EN MARCHE, POUR VITER DE VOUS BRLER. Le temps de prparation pour confectionner les aliments peut varier en fonction du type daliments et de votre got personnel. Au dbut, surveillez donc la cuisson jusqu ce que vous dterminiez le temps de prparation qui vous semble idal. Certaines pices internes du gril ont t lgrement lubrifies, cest la raison pour laquelle lappareil peut dgager un peu de fume lorsque vous le mettrez en marche pour la premire fois, mais cela ne durera que quelques instants.

6. CONSEILS PRATIQUES
Nutilisez pas dobjets mtalliques ou pointus pour manipuler les aliments cuisiner, car ils risquent dabmer le revtement anti-adhsif des plaques. Veillez couper les aliments uniformment, afin dobtenir une cuisson optimale. Si vous souhaitez obtenir une marque en forme de grille, vous devrez retourner laliment en milieu de cuisson. Si laliment dgage beaucoup de graisse, vous devrez placer un rcipient sous la goulotte (i), pour viter de salir la table ou le plan de travail. En gnral, il est recommand de saler le poisson avant de le passer sur le gril, et la viande aprs. Nettoyez la viande ou le poisson laide dun chiffon humide, puis schez-les bien, car leau empchera la correcte transmission de chaleur. Il convient dtaler un peu de margarine ou dhuile pour salade sur les plaques.

7. ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE
Avant de procder au nettoyage du gril, dbranchez lappareil et laissez-le refroidir compltement. Ds quil sera froid, passez un chiffon humide en utilisant un dtergent non-abrasif sur les deux plaques. Nettoyez les parties extrieures de lappareil laide dun chiffon doux humide. Si vous jugez ncessaire de nettoyer les plaques plus intensment, retirez-les du gril en ouvrant les clips denclenchement des plaques (Fig. 6) et laissez-les tremper durant quelques heures. Vous pouvez galement les passer au lave-vaisselle. Nutilisez pas dponges mtalliques ni de dtergents abrasifs, afin de ne pas abmer le revtement anti-adhsif des plaques. 1. FFNUNG UND POSITIONEN DES GRILLS Um den Grill zu ffnen, entriegeln Sie zunchst den Riegel (f), der sich am oberen Griff (e) befindet, indem Sie ihn aus seiner Aufnahme ziehen und in die mittlere Position bringen. (Abb. 2) Lngsanordnung der Platten Ausgehend von der geschlossenen Position und mit dem Riegel in der mittleren Position ffnen Sie den Grill, indem Sie den oberen Deckel aufklappen, bis er am Anschlag angekommen ist. (Abb. 3) Die Position der Benutzung wird dafr benutzt, wenn Sie es vorziehen, dass der obere Deckel nicht mit den Nahrungsmitteln in Berhrung kommt. An die Form der Nahrungsmittel anpassen Ausgehend von der Position des vorhergehenden Abschnitts mit einer Lngsanordnung, legen Sie das Nahrungsmittel auf die untere Platte und schlieen den Grill, indem Sie den Deckel sanft zuklappen, bis er auf dem Nahrungsmittel aufliegt. Diese Position wird benutzt, um das Nahrungsmittel von beiden Seiten gleichzeitig zu grillen und zu rsten. Parallele Platten ffnen Sie den Grill und bringen Sie ihn in die Position der lngsangeordneten Platten, legen Sie das Nahrungsmittel auf die untere Platte und ziehen Sie den Deckel nach oben bis er am Anschlag angelangt ist und drehen Sie ihn nun nach vorne bis er aufsetzt. In dieser Form schwebt der obere Deckel ber dem unteren Deckel. (Abb. 4) Diese Position wird benutzt, um zu gratinieren, aufzuwrmen und den Grill so zu nutzen, als handele es sich um einen traditionellen Ofen. Danach drehen Sie ihn nach hinten, bis der Riegel auf dem Tisch oder der Arbeitsplatte aufliegt. Um den Riegel zu ffnen, ziehen Sie ihn nach oben und drehen ihn in seine mittlere oder geschlossene Position. Diese Position wird benutzt, um die doppelte Menge an Nahrungsmitteln auf ein Mal grillen zu knnen, indem man die doppelte Oberflche zur Verfgung hat. (Abb. 5)

DEN GRILL NICHT WHREND SEINES BETRIEBS, DENN ES BESTEHT DIE GEFAHR SICH ZU VERBRENNEN. Die Zeit fr die Zubereitung der Nahrungsmittel, hngt vom jeweiligen Nahrungsmittel und von Ihrem persnlichen Geschmack ab. Deshalb ist es ratsam, zu Beginn die Zeit der Zubereitung zu berwachen, bis Sie ihre eigenen Zeiten festgestellt haben. Einige interne Teile des Grills sind etwas eingelt worden und deshalb kann der Grill fr eine kurze Zeitspanne etwas Rauch absondern, wenn Sie ihn zum ersten Mal benutzen.

5. BENUTZUNG
Stellen Sie das Gert horizontal auf eine ebene und stabile Oberflche, fern der Rnder und lassen Sie das Kabel nicht ber den Rand des Tischs oder der Arbeitsplatte hngen oder unter dem Grill liegen. Schlieen Sie das Gert an den Netzstrom an und whlen Sie eine Temperatur zum Grillen ber den Wahlschalter fr die Temperatur (c) aus. Dieser Schalter verfgt ber eine Position Null (0) und fnf Optionen zum Grillen, um eine hhere oder niedrigere Temperatur, je nach Nahrungsmittel, festlegen zu knnen. Die Leuchtanzeige fr den Betrieb (b) leuchtet auf, wenn das Gert angeschlossen ist und Sie den Wahlschalter fr die Temperatur (c) auf einer der Positionen zwischen 1 und 5 gestellt haben. Sie erlischt, wenn die Platten die ausgewhlte Temperatur erreicht haben. Ab diesem Augenblick schaltet sich der Grill immer wieder an und aus, um eine konstante Temperatur der Platten zu halten. Damit einher geht ein regelmiges Aufleuchten und ein Erlschen der Betriebsleuchte. Wenn die Platten die ausgewhlte Temperatur erreicht haben, whlen Sie die Arbeitsposition der Platten, so wie es im vorherigen Abschnitt beschrieben worden ist und bringen Sie die Nahrungsmittel auf. 6. PRAKTISCHE HINWEISE
Benutzen Sie keine Gegenstnde aus Metall oder spitze Gegenstnde auf den Heizplatten, wenn Sie an den Nahrungsmitteln hantieren, denn sie knnen die Beschichtung beschdigen, die ein Anhaften von Lebensmittel verhindert. Versichern Sie sich, dass die Nahrungsmittel uniform geschnitten sind, um eine adquate Zubereitung zu erhalten. Wenn Sie eine Rstmarke in Form eines Gittes wollen, sollten Sie das Nahrungsmittel nach der Hlfte der Garzeit etwas drehen. Wenn das Nahrungsmittel viel Fett absondert, sollten Sie unter die Rinne (i) ein Gef stellen, damit der Tisch oder die Arbeitsplatte nicht verschmutzt wird. Als generelle Regel sollten Sie beachten, den Fisch vor der Zubereitung zu salzen und das Fleisch danach. Reinigen Sie das Fleisch oder den Fisch mit einem feuchten Tuch und trocknen Sie es danach gut ab, denn sonst hat das Wasser eine negative Wirkung bei der bertragung der Hitze. Es ist ratsam, die Platten mit etwas Margarine oder Salatl einzufetten.

7. REINIGUNG UND INSTANDHALTUNG

Bevor Sie mit der Reinigung beginnen, ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose und warten Sie, bis das Gert vllig abgekhlt ist. Nach der Abkhlung fahren Sie mit einem feuchten Lappen und einem nicht kratzenden Reiniger ber die beiden Platten. Reinigen Sie die ueren Teile des Gerts mit einem feuchten Tuch. Wenn eine intensive Reinigung der Platten notwendig ist, nehmen Sie sie heraus. ffnen Sie die Clips aus den Haltern an den Platten (Abb. 6) und weichen Sie sie fr einige Stunden ein. 4. PRIMA DEL PRIMO USO

Prima del primo uso, fare un po di pratica con il grill, ponendolo nelle varie posizioni e cambiando le piastre, con l'apparecchio scollegato. Pulire le superficie delle piastre con un panno umido e lasciar asciugare. Ungere le piastre con olio normale dinsalata. 1. APERTURA E POSIZIONI DEL GRILL Per aprire il grill, sganciare prima la levetta (f) che si trova sul manico superiore (e), estraendola dalla sua sede fino alla posizione intermedia. (Fig. 2) Piastre perpendicolari Partendo dalla posizione di chiuso e con la levetta in posizione intermedia, aprire il grill facendo girare il coperchio superiore allindietro sino ad andare in battuta. (Fig. 3) Questa posizione di lavoro si utilizza quando si desidera che la piastra

superiore non entri in contatto con gli alimenti. Adattabile alla forma dell'alimento Partendo dalla posizione della sezione precedente, piastre perpendicolari, collocare l'alimento sulla piastra inferiore e chiudere il grill abbassando dolcemente il coperchio superiore sino a che appoggi sull'alimento. Questa posizione si utilizza per grigliare e indorare simultaneamente i due lati degli alimenti. Piastre parallele Aprire il grill mettendolo nella posizione di piastre perpendicolari, collocare gli alimenti sulla piastra inferiore e tirare verso lalto il coperchio superiore sino ad andare in battuta e di seguito, farlo girare in avanti sino a che rimanga appoggiato. In questo modo la piastra superiore rimane sospesa su quella inferiore. (Fig. 4) Questa posizione si utilizza per gratinare, riscaldare ed in genere per usare il grill come se fosse un forno tradizionale. Piastre aperte a 180 Con il grill chiuso, sollevare la levetta di chiusura ed appoggio (f), mettendola in posizione verticale e bloccarla premendo verso il basso. Aprire il grill mettendo le piastre perpendicolari e da questa posizione, tirare verso lalto il coperchio superiore sino ad andare in battuta e di seguito, girare il coperchio allindietro, finch la levetta si collochi sulla tavola o sul piano cucina. Per sbloccare la levetta, tirare dalla stessa verso lalto sino ad andare in battuta, e girarla alla posizione intermedia o chiuso. Questa posizione si utilizza per cucinare il doppio di alimenti di una volta sola, disponendo la doppia superficie. (Fig. 5)

5. FUNZIONAMENTO
Collocare il grill su una superficie piana orizzontale, resistente al calore e lontano dal bordo della tavola o del piano cucina. Non lasciare che il cavo penzoli dal bordo della tavola o del piano cucina e non passi al di sotto del grill. Collegare l'apparecchio e selezionare la temperatura di cottura desiderata mediante il selettore di temperatura (c). Detto selettore ha una posizione di spento (0), e di 5 opzioni di cottura per determinare una maggiore o minore temperatura a seconda dell'alimento da cucinare. L'indicatore luminoso di funzionamento (b), si accender quando si connette l'apparecchio quando il selettore di temperatura posto in qualsiasi posizione da 1 a 5. Si spegner quando le piastre hanno raggiunto la temperatura selezionata. A partire da questo momento, il grill si accender e si spegner automaticamente per mantenere costante la temperatura delle piastre. A sua volta l'indicatore di funzionamento si accender e si spegner regolarmente. Quando le piastre raggiungono la temperatura selezionata, scegliere la posizione di lavoro delle piastre, secondo quanto descritto nella sezione precedente e collocare gli alimenti sopra di loro. ATTENZIONE: UTILIZZARE SOLO I MANICI PER MUOVERE IL GRILL. NON TOCCARE LAPPARECCHIO QUANDO IN FUNZIONAMENTO POICH C IL RISCHIO DI USTIONI. Il tempo di preparazione per confezionare gli alimenti, pu variare in funzione del tipo di alimenti e del gusto personale. Perci, si consiglia che inizialmente, controllare la cottura sino a stabilirne i propri tempi. Alcuni componenti interni del grill sono stati leggermente ingrassati e, dovuto a ci, il grill pu emettere un po di fumo alla prima accensione, ci durer poco.

6. CONSIGLI PRATICI
Non utilizzare oggetti metallici o appuntiti per spostare gli alimenti da cucinare, poich potrebbero danneggiare il rivestimento antiaderente delle piastre. Fare in modo che gli alimenti siano tagliati in modo uniforme, per ottenere un'adeguata cottura. Se si desiderano dei segni a forma di griglia, si dovr girare l'alimento a met tempo di cottura. Se l'alimento rilascia molto grasso, si dovr collocare un recipiente al di sotto del troppopieno (i), per evitare che si sporchi la tavola o il piano cucina. Di solito, si raccomanda di salare il pesce prima di grigliarlo, e la carne dopo. Pulire la carne o il pesce con un panno umido e di seguito asciugarli bene, altrimenti l'acqua influir in modo negativo nella trasmissione del calore. Si consiglia di ungere le piastre con un po di margarina o dellolio normale dinsalata.

7. MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA
Prima di procedere alla pulizia del grill, scollegare l'apparecchio e lasciarlo raffreddare completamente. Quando si raffreddato, passare un panno umido con detergente non abrasivo su ambedue le piastre. Pulire le parti esterne dell'apparecchio con un panno umido e morbido. Se si ritiene necessario pulire le piastre pi a fondo, estrarle dal grill levando i clip di aggancio delle piastre (Fig. 6) e lasciarle in ammollo per alcune ore. Si possono lavare anche in lavastoviglie. Non utilizzare strofinacci metallici n abrasivi per non danneggiare il rivestimento antiaderente delle piastre. NON IMMERGERE L'APPARECCHIO IN ACQUA N IN NESSUN ALTRO LIQUIDO E NEMMENO PORLO SOTTO IL RUBINETTO.

8. STOCCAGGIO
Il grill pu essere conservato in posizione verticale. Per far ci arrotolare il cavo sui piedini di appoggio, e collocare sempre la levetta di chiusura nella posizione di chiuso.
