Gustar with infinitives

 Infinitives are your “base verbs”

 They tell the meaning of the verbs
without naming any subject or tense.

 In Spanish, they end in –ar, -er, or –ir.

Gustar with infinitives

 To say what someone likes to do, use

an infinitive after gusta.

 Me gusta cantar.
 I like to sing.
 A él le gusta jugar el fútbol.
 He likes to play soccer.
