Para expresarnos en tiempo futuro en ingls, podemos hacerlo de distintas formas

dependiendo de la intencin, probabilidad o seguridad de que se realice alguna accion.

Estos tres conceptos pueden resultarnos algo confusos, para ellos nos ocuparemos de
cada uno por separado.

1) "idiomatic future (futuro idiomtico). Da a entender intencin, o que una accin se

va realizar en el futuro inmediato, y para ello se usa siempre la accin "to be going to".
(va a )
Ex:
-It is going to rain this weekend.
(it is gouin tu rein dis wikend)
Va a llover este fin de semana
-She is going to visit you in one week.
(shi is gouin tu visit iu in wuan wik)
Ella va a visitarte en una semana
-They are going to travel to Cancn this month.
(dei ar gouin tu travl tu Cancn dis mond)
Ellos van a viajar a Cancn este mes.
Algunas expresiones que se suelen usar con el futuro idiomatico son:
-This day (este dia).
-This month (este mes).
-This week (esta semana).
-This weekend (este fin de semana).
-In 2 days(en 2 dias).
-Tomorrow (maana).
Para negacin e interrogacin en este tiempo, solo se aplica la misma regla que se
aplica con el verbo "to be".
Ex:
-I am not going to your house tomorrow.
(yo no voy a ir a tu casa maana)
-Are you coming with us this saturday?.
Estas tu viniendo con nosotros este sabado?
2)simple future(futuro simple) . Expresa un plan o una accin que probablemente se
realizara en un futuro lejano, es decir, no es seguro que pase o suceda, es este tiempo
solo se pone la persona, luego "will (wil) (el cual es un palabra auxiliar que le da
sentido de futuro a un verbo), y despus una accin en su forma simple
Sujeto + will + verbo +
Ex:
-I will work next week.

(ai wil work next wik)

Yo trabajare la siguiente semana
-It will eat its food if it wants.
(it wil i..t its fud if it wants)
Comer su comida si quiere
-He will go to Mxico next month if he is free.
(ji wil gou tu Mxico next mond if ji is fri..)
El ira a Mxico el siguiente mes si esta libre

Negativo
-She wont want to do it.
(shi wont want tu du it)
Ella no querr hacerlo
-I wont go on vacations with you next summer.
(ai wont gou on vakeishions wid iu next somer)
Yo no ir de vacaciones con ustedes el siguiente verano
Interrogacion
-Will he watch t. v. With his sons?
(wil ji wotch ti. vi. Wid jis sons?)
Vera el t. v. Con sus hijos?
Algunas frases que expresan un futuro lejano y suelen ser usadas en futuro simple.
Ex:
-Next week = la siguiente semana.
-next month = el siguiente mes,
-next year = el siguiente ao
-in 5 years = en 5 as, etc.
3) "continuous future (futuro continuo)" => da a entender que un verbo o accin se
realizara de forma segura en el futuro lejano, es decir, es seguro que pase o suceda
dicha accin; la estructura de la oracin en este tiempo es:
Persona + will + be + accin "forma simple, sin pluralizar" + ing + when / until + oracin
en presente simple.
Ex:
-She will be playing the guitar when he comes.
(shi wil bi pleing de guitar jwen ji coms)
Ella estar tocando la guitarra cuando l venga
-I will be waiting for you until you arrive.
(ai wl bi weiting for iu ontil iu awraiv)
Yo estar esperando por ti hasta que tu llegues

Para las negaciones solo se cambia "will" por "wont",

y para las interrogaciones seria asi: "will + persona + be + . . .?".
Ex:
-Will she be playing the guitar when he comes?.
Ella estar tocando la guitarra cuando el venga?
-I wont be waiting for you until you arrive.
No no estare esperando por ti hasta que llegues.

En ocasiones suceden dos acciones en el futuro al mismo tiempo, en ese caso solo
debemos usar los conectores "and(y)", "while (mientras)", "meanwhile (mientras tanto)"
o "in the meantime(de mientras)".
Ex:
-I will go to that city, in the meantime you will wait here for me.
Yo ire a la ciudad en mientras tu esperaras aqu por mi

1) The sky is getting dark, so, it is going to rain this afternoon.
El cielo se est oscureciendo, entonces, va a llover esta tarde.
2) I am leaving today because I will visit my relatives tomorrow in Cancn.
Estoy saliendo hoy porque visitare a mis parientes, maana en Cancun.
3) It is not sure, but I think I will be going to school until next month.
No es seguro pero creo que estar yendo al colegio hasta el siguiente mes
4) Next summer, they wont crash their car again as the last one, because they already
know how to drive carefully.
El siguiente verano, ellos no chocaran su carro otra vez como la ultima (vez) porque
ellos ya saben cmo manejar cuidadosamente
5) I will be waiting there when you arrive from usa.
Estar esperando all cuando llegues desde USA.
6) When he comes, she will be playing the piano in her house.
Cuando el venga, ella estar tocando el piano en su casa.

Preguntar por los planes de alguien.

En esta conversacin telefnica David habla de sus planes para el fin de
semana. Fjate en el uso de presente continuo para futuro y "going to" para hablar
de los planes.

David - (Answers the phone.) Oxford 711 2345. This is David speaking. (Contesta el telfono.) Diga. Habla David. ...
Mara - David! I'm jealous! - David! Estoy celosa! ...
David - Jealous? Whatever for? - Celosa? Y eso? ...
Mara - Well, envious, at any rate. I hear you're planning a canoeing trip this
weekend. I want to go too! - Bueno, tengo envidia, mejor dicho. Me han dicho
que ests planeando un paseo en canoa para este fin de semana. Yo quiero ir
tambin! ...
David - Well, that's right. It was a last minute thing really. Geoff called me and
said he wanted to canoe down to Lechlade and he asked if I'd like to go with
him. I said yes. Weather permitting, of course. - Bueno, s, ests en el acierto.
