ANLISIS DE UN TEST EN LA TEORA DE LA RESPUESTA AL TEM

UTILIZANDO EL PROGRAMA BILOG-MG.


El programa ms utilizado para el anlisis de tests formados por tems dicotmicos es el
programa BILOG, actualmente incluido en el programa BILOG-MG (que adems
permite el anlisis multi-grupo). El programa proporciona estadsticos de la TCT,
estimadores de los parmetros de la TRI, segn el modelo seleccionado, as como
funciones de informacin, error tpico y estimadores de la habilidad ().
Para tems politmicos debern utilizarse otros programas como PARSCALE o
MULTILOG.
1. Preparacin de los datos
Los archivos de datos para analizar con BILOG-MG deben ser datos ASCII (tambin
llamados MSDOS, texto, etc..), es decir, archivos en texto plano (sin caracteres de
formato). La mayor parte de los programas (por ejemplo el SPSS) permiten exportar a
este formato. Pueden grabarse con TextPad o Bloc de Notas. En la figura puede verse el
archivo de datos tratado anteriormente con SPSS en dicho formato.

Puede observarse que aparecen unos caracteres alfabticos que corresponderan a un


identificador de sujeto, con variable cadena, que es requerido por el programa.
En la parte superior del archivo, coincidiendo con cada uno de los tems, se presenta su
clave de respuesta correcta. En este caso, como ya estn expresados como 0 y 1, la
clave de respuesta correcta es 1. Si partisemos del archivo original, con las respuestas a
las opciones, se incluira la clave de la respuesta correcta. Si hubiese omisiones o no
alcanzados, se aadiran las lneas
OMIT KEY y encima de los tems, la clave de la omisin.
NOT Presented Key y encima de cada tem la correspondiente clave.

2. Instrucciones
A diferencia del SPSS, el programa BILOG, igual que los restantes utilizados en el
mbito de la TRI, no funcionan por seleccin desde el Men, sino que requiere escribir
una Sintaxis, con una serie de comandos, que se pueden consultar en el correspondiente
Manual.
Todos los comandos comienzan con > y finalizan con ;. Dentro de cada comando
existen opciones (diferentes formas de ejecucin) que se encuentran separadas por
comas.
En la figura siguiente se presenta el conjunto de instrucciones bsico para analizar un
test como el que nos ocupa.

3. Resultados del programa BILOG-MG


El programa proporciona 3 ficheros de resultados, etiquetados con las extensiones de
PH1 (fase 1, correspondiente a los anlisis de la TCT); PH2 (fase 2), correspondientes a
la estimacin de parmetros de los tems y PH3 (fase 3) donde se recogen los datos de
informacin y los estimadores de la habilidad y correspondientes errores tpicos.
Aunque el conjunto total de datos incluye ms sujetos, los mismos analizados en la
TCT, los estimadores estn calculados sobre una muestra aleatoria de N=1000,
seleccionados aleatoriamente por el programa. La razn de la seleccin se debe a la
sensibilidad de los estadsticos de ajuste basados en ji-cuadrado al tamao muestral.
En la tabla 1 se incluyen los estadsticos de la TCT.

Puede observarse en la media de Threshold (parmetro b) que en promedio el test tiene


una dificultad media, ya que la media de los parmetros de dificultad de los tems est
en torno a 0, en escala de puntuaciones tpicas.

El programa dispone de un interface grfico que permite representar las CCI, funciones
de informacin del tem, as como las funciones de informacin y error tpico del test
total. A continuacin se presentan dichas representaciones grficas para algunos tems
seleccionados.
