This problem is a violation of the Chicago Residential Landlord Tenant Ordinance and
my lease agreement. Therefore, I am requesting that you remedy this problem within 14 days.
If the problem is not fixed within 14 days, I will deduct a portion of my rent for each day after
the 14 days that the problem remains. The amount I withhold will reflect the reduced value of
my apartment. I will continue to make this deduction until the problem is fixed.
