EDUCACIÓN SOBRE MEDIDAS HIGIÉNICAS
NORMAS BÁSICAS DE PROTECCIÓN ARTICULAR
1) Evitar obesidad (1B)
2) Evitar sobrecargas (trabajo más pesado con articulaciones más fuertes)
3) Enseñar al paciente a ser consciente de sus limitaciones
4) Potenciar las medidas de higiene postural
5) Practicar ejercicio (tonificar musculatura, reforzar músculos que actúan sobre
articulación afecta)
6) Potenciar ejercicio en descarga (sentado, en el agua)
7) Evitar marchas prolongadas por terreno irregular
8) Evitar deportes que requieran un esfuerzo intenso, choques, etc
9) Evitar subir y bajar escaleras innecesariamente (artic de EEII)
10) Utilizar calzado adecuado si hay afectación de los miembros inferiores, cama
alta y potenciar el uso del bastón (permite una mayor movilidad, favorece la
descarga y, por tanto, disminuye el dolor y el número de caídas)
