Rules to form the comparative in

English.

1. In English, most of them adds adjectives 'er'

at the end to form the comparative. Example:
My apartment is small Mi apartamento es
pequeo
My brothers apartment is smaller El
apartamento de mi hermano es ms pequeo
1. En ingls, a la mayora de los adjetivos se
les aade un er al final para formar el
comparativo.


2. If the adjective ends in 'e', only adds an 'r.
Example:
This salesman is nice but the first one
was nicer Este vendedor es amable pero el
primero era ms amable.

3. Some adjectives ending in a consonant, double the

final consonant to form the comparative. Example.

3. Algunos adjetivos que terminan en consonante,

duplican la consonante final para formar el
comparativo. Ejemplo.


4. When the adjective ends in 'and' change the
'and' a 'i' and added to the end 'er' to form the
comparative. Example:
Happy (Feliz), Happier (mas feliz)
Thirsty (sediento), more thirsty (ms sediento)

5. Some adjectives however, have a different form for
comparative and should use 'more' and 'Most' to train. Overall
are adjectives that have more than two syllables or ending in

ed.

are irregular. They have completely different
comparative; these are:
