Melanie:

pasado ella ya no dirá walk, si no walked, no dirá work, si no worked, tampoco
watch, si no watched y mucho menos talk, si no talked.
hermanos, y 2 perros” dirías, “ When I was 7 years old, I had 2 brothers and 2
dogs”
Marta:
No dirías “see” en pasado, dirías “Saw”, ¿ves? No es difícil, sólo debes
aprendértelos.
Mariana:
Exactamente, otro ejemplo es “go” en pasado dirías “Went”, o “be”, en pasado hay
dos opciones “Was” y “Were”, el primero para singular, y el segundo para plural.
Por ejemplo “ they were eating pizza a week ago”.
Melanie:
Ahora ya no tengo miedo de decir los verbos en pasado, he diferenciado algunos
entre regulares e irregulares y con ayuda de mis amigos monstruos quiero seguir
aprendiendo.
Melanie:
When I was little I always talked about "I can walk" "I see a castle" "I'm running" "I
can dance" when I was growing up, I understood that I should meet a friend named
Ed who demanded that I always be next to him, when I talked about those
moments of my past.
Ed:
Hi there! I'm Ed, we met each other because she needs to talk about her past, and
to be able to do this, she needs me, for example, she means she likes to eat cake,
but in the past, so with my help, adding the letters ED to the verb, now she can say
that she liked to eat cake. For example, in the past she will no longer say walk,
opposite she will say walked, wont say work, opposite she will say worked, nor
watch, opposite she will say watched and far less talk, opposite she will say talked.
But there are some verbs in which I cannot help you, because they are irregular,
and we are all afraid of these verbs.
Marta:
We are not so bad, you have to learn that when you want to talk about your past,
sometimes you should make almost a complete change to your verb, and not be
afraid of the changes, however if you are wrong we will scare you. For example, if
you want to say “I do my homework” in the past, you say “I did my homework”, the
verb changes, but it is not so difficult to learn it. Changing only the Word do to did.
Paula:
That's right, you shouldn't fear irregular verbs, we look like monsters but we really
aren't, for example, if you want to say in the past "I have 2 brothers, and 2 dogs"
you would say, "When I was 7 years old, I had 2 brothers and 2 dogs. ” Changing
the words have to had and adding the word was referring to your past.
Marta:
you wouldn't say "see" in the past, you would say "Saw", did you get it? It is not
difficult, you just have to learn them.
Mariana:
Exactly, another example is "go" in the past you would say "Went", or "be", in the
past there are two options "Was" and "Were", the first for singular, and the second
for plural. For example "they were eating pizza a week ago."
Melanie:
Now I am not afraid to say the verbs in the past, I have differentiated some
between regular and irregular and with the help of my monster friends I want to
continue learning.
