dichas especies.
Abstract
The present work aims to estimate the dissolved oxygen(DO) concentrations in a stretch of
BC and AB from the Streeter-Phelps mathematical model, with which we obtain the oxygen
deficit and the Elmore and Hayes relationship, with which we obtain saturated oxygen giving
us the difference of these two the result of the dissolved oxygen concentration. Dissolved
oxygen helps us monitor the quality of the water, creating scenarios that are favorable for
the aquatic ecosystem in situations such as the discharge of treated wastewater that may
alter this environment, thus causing the deterioration of its ecosystem or loss of living beings
that inhabit it Therefore, when considering the discharge of a certain concentration of treated
wastewater, it will simulate the conditions under which these species will not harm.
