Bear Says Thank You

Little Bear has big plans for Mama Bear and he uses his good manners
while getting it done! In this book, Little Bear needs some special
supplies to make Mama Bear a loving message and he says “Thank
you” every time he gets what he asks for! Help your child learn good
manners like Little Bear by making a Little Bear finger puppet to
remind your child to use good manners! Simply draw or trace one of
the pictures of Little Bear in the book on a piece of white paper.
Outline the picture using a black Sharpie and then cut out the figure.
Ask your child to hold up their pointer finger and fit the Little Bear
finger puppet around your child’s finger and tape it so the paper
surrounds your child’s finger. Now, tell your child anytime they need
to ask for something they should hold up their Little Bear finger
puppet to remind them to say “Thank you!” when they get what they
asked for. You can extend this practice to other manners, such as
saying “Please” before asking for something. Your child will learn to
use good manners just like Little Bear!

¡Osito tiene grandes planes para Mamá Osa y usa sus buenos modales
mientras lo hace! En este libro, Osito necesita algunos suministros
especiales para hacerle a Mamá Osa un mensaje amoroso y dice
"Gracias" cada vez que obtiene lo que pide. Ayuda a tu hijo/a a
aprender buenos modales como Osito haciendo un títere de dedo
para recordarle a tu hijo/a que debe tener buenos modales.
Simplemente dibuja o calca una de las imágenes de Osito en el libro
en una hoja de papel blanco. Delinea la imagen con un marcador
negro y luego recorta la figura. Pídele a tu hijo/a que levante el dedo
índice y ajuste el títere de Osito alrededor del dedo índice y pégalo
con cinta adhesiva para que el papel rodee su dedito. Ahora, dile a tu
hijo/a que cada vez que necesite pedir algo, debe levantar su títere de
Osito para recordarle que debe decir "¡Gracias!" cuando obtienen lo
que pidieron. Puede extender esta práctica a otros modales, como
decir "por favor" antes de pedir algo. ¡Tu hijo/a aprenderá a usar
buenos modales como Osito!
