Querida Annie,

Hace unos días que comencé a trabajar para una empresa fuera de mi país, el
trabajo es muy bueno, cuento con seguro médico, un excelente salario, y el
entorno laboral es aceptable, sin embargo aun no logro quedar del todo
satisfecho conmigo mismo, en un principio creí que teniendo un buen trabajo y
tener cubiertas mis cuentas solucionaría todos mis problemas, o al menos la
mayoría de ellos, el problema deriva más que nada en que las cosas por acá son
muy diferentes, no tengo cerca a mis amigos, mi familia, ni a nadie que sea tan
cercano, las pocas interacciones sociales que tengo por acá son con mis
compañeros de trabajo, los cuales al igual que yo siempre estamos ocupados
haciendo trabajo tras trabajo. Me aburro tanto al punto en que considero dejarlo
todo y volver a mi país, pero lo más probable es que me resulte demasiado
complicado volver a ocupar un empleo como el que tengo ahora mismo ¿Alguna
sugerencia?

A few days ago I started working for a company outside my country, the job is
very good, I have health insurance, an excellent salary, and the work
environment is acceptable, however I still can not be completely satisfied with
myself, at first I thought that having a good job and having my bills covered
would solve all my problems, or at least most of them, the problem derives
more than anything that things here are very different, I do not have my friends,
my family, or anyone who is so close, the few social interactions I have here are
with my coworkers, who like me are always busy doing job after job. I get so
bored to the point where I am considering leaving everything and going back to
my country, but most likely it will be too complicated for me to get a job like
the one I have right now. Any suggestions?
