HUACACHINA LAGOON

Its appeal as a natural paradise, the warm climate throughout the

year and the healing power of its green waters.
Huacachina is a desert oasis and a small village just west of the
city of Ica, in southwestern Peru. In its center are the green waters
of the Huacachina lagoon, which is believed to have therapeutic
properties attributed to its waters rich in sulfurous and saline
substances. It is surrounded by palms. The shores of the lagoon
have bars and clubs. The buggies cross the high undulating dunes
that surround the village.
Houses and hotels were built, a boardwalk was built around the
lagoon, with railings, walkways and changing rooms for bathers.
Even the road that connects the lagoon with the city of Ica was
paved, which was planted with ficus, acacias and huarangos,
which is used for the rest of the flying birds that pass through this
region.

LAGUNA HUACACHINA
Su atractivo como paraíso natural, el cálido clima de todo el año y
el poder curativo de sus aguas color verde.
Huacachina es un oasis desértico y una pequeña villa justo al oeste
de la ciudad de Ica, en el suroeste de Perú. En su centro están las
aguas verdes de la laguna de Huacachina, la cual se cree que tiene
propiedades terapéuticas atribuido a sus aguas ricas en sustancias
sulfurosas y salinas. Está rodeada de palmas. Las orillas de la
laguna tienen bares y clubes. Los buggies recorren las altas dunas
onduladas que rodean la villa.
Se construyeron casas y hoteles, se levantó un malecón alrededor
de la laguna, con barandas, alamedas y vestidores para bañistas.
Incluso se asfaltó el camino que une la laguna con la ciudad de
Ica, que se sembró de ficus, acacias y huarangos, la que sirve para
el descanso de las aves voladoras que pasan por esta región.
