History
His artistic genius flourished in Madrid, where he
published "Romancero Gitano" in 1928 and created
works such as "Bodas de sangre", exploring human
emotions and social tensions. Tragically, the Spanish
Civil War sheltered him with his death in 1936 due
to his political beliefs and sexual orientation. Despite
his early departure, his literary legacy continues to
inspire globally. García Lorca began his education at
the University of Granada in 1914,
combining his academic
training with his passion
for lettersand leaving
a deep mark on
20th century literature
and theater.
