La monitorización de los procesos industriales no se concibe sin tener un medio que permita interactuar

y conocer los estados en los que se encuentra un determinado proceso. Los HMIs y los SCADAs se
encargan de poner a nuestro alcance el manejo preciso de todo un sistema, independientemente de las
funciones que este realice. Si bien en la industria de estos softwares, existen muchas empresas que
prestan este tipo de servicios, son más de uno los usuarios o clientes que se interesan por conocer
alternativas libres de pagos. Con el desarrollo de este proyecto se pretende analizar el software OSHMI
el cual promete ser una alternativa de HMI para subestaciones eléctricas, libre de costos y con
funcionalidades que pueden hacer frente a la competencia. Se realizará la simulación de un ejemplo de
funcionamiento de este software explicando cada paso de configuración y de esta forma crear las bases
para futuros proyectos con este software.

The monitoring of industrial processes is not conceived without having a means that allows interacting
and knowing the states in which a certain process is found. HMIs and SCADAs are responsible for putting
within our reach the precise management of an entire system, regardless of the functions it performs.
Although in the industry of these softwares, there are many companies that provide this type of
services, there are more than one users or customers who are interested in knowing free payment
alternatives. The development of this project aims to analyze the OSHMI software which promises to be
an HMI alternative for electrical substations, free of charge and with functionalities that can cope with
the competition. Simulation of an example of this software operation will be performed explaining each
configuration step and in this way create the basis for future projects with this software.
