Walter: ¿si, alguna vez estuviste por allí? ¿Escuchaste sobre la fiesta de la virgen del Carmen?
Es la costumbre que más me gusta.

Percy: ¿Yo nunca escuche sobre esa fiesta, nos podrías contar como es?

Walter: Es una celebración donde se junta gente de diferentes lugares para celebrar a nuestra
Virgen, es una de las fiestas mas grandes y coloridas de mi tierra. Puedes observar danzas
típicas que son bailadas con mucho entusiasmo por los danzantes, así como la comida
tradicional y también se realizan misas en honor a nuestra virgen. Algún día deberían venir.

It is a celebration where people from different places meet to celebrate our Virgin, it is one of
the largest and most colorful festivals in my land. You can see typical dances that are danced
with great enthusiasm by the dancers, as well as traditional foods and masses are also held in
honor of our virgin. Someday they should come.

Luz: Oh, increíble ¡Claro que ire. En cusco la costumbre que mas me gusta es el Inty Raymi,
pues realizan una representación de lo que fue la fiesta al sol en el periodo incaico, allí simulan
las peregrinaciones de los cuatro suyos, danzas y rituales ceremoniales en agradecimiento al
dios sol.
Oh, this is amazing! Of course I will go. In Cusco, the custom that I like the most is the Inty
Raymi, because they perform a representation of what the festival of the sun was in the Inca
era, there they simulate the pilgrimages of the four, dances and ceremonial rituals in gratitude
to the Sun God.

Percy: Yo si tuve la oportunidad de asistir al inty Raymi hace muchos años y es gran
espectáculo, me gustaría volver a verlo. En mi pueblo hay una fiesta similar al inty Raymi y es
mi costumbre favorita, porque representa la actividad a la que mas se dedicaban
antiguamente en yanatile, se llama “coca Raymi”, es una festividad donde se realiza el pago a
la tierra y se hace en honor a la hoja de coca, esto se realiza justo antes de la cosecha para que
haya una buena cosecha. Hacemos ofrendas, rituales y danzamos con la finalidad de obtener
una buena producción ese año.

If I had the opportunity to attend Raymi many years ago and it's a great show, I'd like to see it
again. In my town there is a festival similar to the inty raymi and it is my favorite custom,
because it represents the activity that was most used in the past in yanatile, it is called "coca
raymi", it is a festival where payment is made to the land and it is done in honor to the coca
leaf, this is done just before the harvest so that there is a good harvest. We perform offerings,
rituals and dances to obtain a good production that year.
