Mathematics is very useful, that man has used forever, since the primitive
era and there is evidence of its use. In stones, bones where counts,
measurements are evidenced. Invented by the Neanderthal man and the
generations of the different eras that were fundamental to keep records
such as the accounting of animals, and recorded the time.
Each civilization found its way to shape this alphabet that represented
mathematical concepts. Some of these numbers are known to us today
thanks to the writings that they made written in stone or painted on paper
or papyrus, such as the Chinese, Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Mayan, Roman
or Hindu numerals, among others. Some of the characters were Plato,
Pythagoras, Euclid, Isaac Newton among others who gave very important
contributions to mathematics.
Before the modern age and the spread of knowledge throughout the world,
written examples of new mathematical developments came to light in only
a few settings. The oldest available mathematical texts are the Plimpton
322 clay tablet (c. 1900 BC), the Moscow papyrus (c. 1850 BC), the Rhind
papyrus (c. 1650 BC) and the Vedic Shulba Sutras (c. 800 BC).
