Al salir de la escuela, Daniel, fue corriendo a la tienda donde podía jugarlos, pero cuando
llegó, solo quedaban dos máquinas disponibles y una de ellas estaba con un letrero de
“fuera de servicio”. En lugar de irse a casa, empezó a curiosear una máquina averiada de
realidad virtual. No supo qué tocó pero lo siguiente que vió fue un rayo de luz azul y en unos
segundos estaba en un lugar totalmente distinto. Todo a su alrededor era de colores vivos y
comenzaron a aparecer figuras cuadriculadas que formaban torres y caminos. Además,
justo enfrente de Daniel apareció un enorme pasillo que le hizo recordar las autopistas.
Al caminar por ese pasillo vio una galleta flotando y tuvo la intuición de que debía tomarla.
La agarró y se la comió, se sintió extraño, pero siguió avanzando y vio un puente muy
estrecho donde solo podía caminar con un pie frente al otro. Al intentar atravesarlo,
empezaron a salir desde abajo unas especie de dardos que amenazaban con derribarlo,
intento esquivarlos pero eran muy rápidos, cuando uno se acercaba, cerro los ojos y cuando
volvió a abrirlos, estaba en el suelo viendo el techo de la tienda. Había mucha gente a su
alrededor examinándolo. Daniel había recibido una descarga eléctrica cuando curioseaba la
máquina averiada.

Todos creían que había sido una experiencia dolorosa, pero Daniel sentía que esa había
sido la aventura de su vida. ¿A qué videojuego había jugado?

Quand il a quitté l'école, Daniel a couru au magasin où il pouvait les jouer, mais quand il est
arrivé, seules deux machines étaient disponibles et l'une d'elles portait une pancarte «hors
service». Au lieu de rentrer chez lui, il a commencé à parcourir une machine de réalité
virtuelle cassée. Il ne savait pas ce qu'il avait touché mais la chose suivante qu'il vit était un
faisceau de lumière bleue et en quelques secondes, il était dans un endroit totalement
différent. Tout autour de lui était de couleurs vives et des silhouettes carrées ont commencé
à apparaître, formant des tours et des chemins. De plus, un immense couloir est apparu
juste en face de Daniel qui lui rappelait les autoroutes. En marchant dans cette allée, il vit un
biscuit flottant et eut l'intuition qu'il devait le prendre. Il l'a attrapé et l'a mangé, Il se sentait
étrange, mais il continua d'avancer et vit un pont très étroit où il ne pouvait marcher qu'un
pied devant l'autre.
En essayant de le traverser, des sortes de fléchettes ont commencé à sortir d'en bas qui
menaçaient de l'assommer, j'ai essayé de les esquiver mais elles étaient très rapides, quand
on s'approchait, il fermait les yeux et quand il les rouvrit, il était par terre en train de regarder
le toit du magasin. Il y avait beaucoup de gens autour de lui qui l'examinaient.
Daniel avait reçu un choc électrique alors qu'il parcourait la machine endommagée.

Tout le monde pensait que cela avait été une expérience douloureuse, mais Daniel avait le
sentiment que cela avait été l'aventure de sa vie. A quel jeu vidéo avait-il joué?

When he left school, Daniel ran to the store where he could play them, but when he arrived,
only two machines were available and one of them carried an "out of service" sign. Instead
of going home, he started browsing a broken virtual reality machine. He didn't know what he
had touched but the next thing he saw was a beam of blue light and within seconds he was
in a whole different place. Everything around him was brightly colored, and square figures
began to appear, forming towers and paths. In addition, a huge hallway appeared right in
front of Daniel which reminded him of the freeways.
As he walked down this aisle, he saw a floating cookie and had a hunch that he had to take
it. He grabbed it and ate it, he felt strange, but he kept moving forward and saw a very
narrow bridge where he could only walk one foot in front of the other.
While trying to cross it, kinds of darts started coming out from below which threatened to
knock him out, I tried to dodge them but they were very fast, when we approached he closed
his eyes and when he opened them again, he was on the floor looking at the roof of the
store. There were a lot of people around him examining him.
Daniel had received an electric shock while walking through the damaged machine.

Everyone thought it had been a painful experience, but Daniel felt it had been the adventure
of his life. What video game had he played?
