1. PROPÓSITO
Este instructivo está desarrollado para ser utilizado como base en un programa
informático de cálculo de cables. No obstante, puede ser utilizado como guía
para cálculo manual.
2. ALCANCE
3. INSTRUCCIONES
3.1 Descripción
Indica los campos a completar (columna 2, “Campo”) para poder continuar con
el cálculo. Los campos están agrupados según afinidad (columna 1, “Grupo”).
Para cada campo se indican los datos que se tiene como opción (columna 4,
“Dato”) y cada campo tiene un número de referencia (columna 3, “N° ref. Dato
de Entrada”).

• Ejemplo:
Es el bloque de forma rectangular, que indica una acción a llevar a cabo, como
obtener un parámetro mediante un cálculo, o extraer un parámetro de una tabla.
Él o los parámetros indicados en el bloque se debe/n ubicar en la tabla
“Parámetros de cálculo”. En la misma, se indica en la columna 4, “Fuente”, de
dónde se obtiene el valor del parámetro, y en la columna5, “Datos de entrada”,
qué datos hacen falta para obtenerlo. Esta última columna, “Datos de entrada”,
hace referencia a la columna 3, “N° ref. Dato de entrada”, de la tabla “Datos de
entrada”.

4.2.1 Premisas
Sin embargo, en condiciones reales hay intercambio de calor con los materiales
adyacentes. A partir de esto, se puede tomar cierta ventaja teniendo en cuenta
parte de este efecto no adiabático.
Según [6], se incorpora al cálculo una corrección que permite un incremento del
5% como mínimo en la corriente admisible por cortocircuito, para los cables de
potencia de uso común. Esta corrección es válida para cualquier duración del
cortocircuito, y las condiciones asumidas en las fórmulas corresponden al peor
caso.
4.2.2 Desarrollo
Se deben seguir los pasos indicados en los flujogramas b1, b2 y b3, utilizando
las tablas B1 y B2 como se explica en el Anexo II.

4.3.1 Premisas
Para la verificación del cable por caída de tensión se emplea el siguiente cálculo:

Para este cálculo se debe corregir el valor de la resistencia del conductor en
corriente alterna para la máxima temperatura de operación del cable, mediante
los factores de proximidad y de efecto pelicular, a partir del valor de resistencia
en corriente continua a 20°C según [7] (Anexo II). Para dicha corrección se
toma el método según [8].
4.3.2 Desarrollo
