Adjetivos COMPARATIVOS

One Syllable Adjectives:

Se le añade –er ; Estructura: adj + er + than

eg.: tall – taller short – shorter ( your brother is taller than mine )

Se dobla la última letra cuando cumple la regla de ser: monosílabo, más consonante, vocal,
consonante (cvc)

eg.: big – bigger hot – hotter ( Your country is bigger than mine )

Two Syllable Adjectives:

Existen varias reglas a todas se le añade al final than ; Estructura: adj + er + than

Happy – happier than, se cambia la y por i +er

Nice – nicer than , se le añade r
E
Narrow – narrower than, se le añade er
OW
Idle – idler than, se le añade r
LE
Clever – cleverer, se le añade er
ER

Two or three syllables or more Adjectives:

Se le añade la palabra more. Estructura: more + adj + than

Modern – more modern than

Boring – more boring than

Beautiful – more beautiful than

eg.: I am more modern than my friend
