SIMPLE FUTURE WITH “WIIL”

El futuro simple es el tiempo verbal en inglés que se forma con el verbo

modal will.

Estructura en afirmativo

Sujeto + will + verbo

I will come back tomorrow. / Volveré mañana.

Estructura en negativo

Sujeto + will not / won’t + verbo

I won’t have time. / No tendré tiempo

Estructura en interrogación

Will + sujeto + verbo?

Will it rain? / ¿Lloverá?

¿Cuándo se usa?

El futuro simple se utiliza para:

Hacer predicciones sobre el futuro de cierta probabilidad. Pueden

acompañarse con el expresión “I think” / Yo pienso. Por ejemplo: I think it will
rain tomorrow. / Creo que lloverá mañana.

Expresar deseos a futuro. Por ejemplo: I hope I will see him next week. /
Espero verlo la semana próxima.

Hablar de situaciones muy probables en el futuro. I will start school tomorrow.

/ Comenzaré las clases mañana.

Transmitir una decisión espontánea o una promesa. I will fix it. / Lo repararé.

Hacer un pedido, a través de una interrogación. En este caso, la traducción

no debe hacerse de forma literal. Will you answer the phone, please? /
¿Podrías atender el teléfono, por favor?
