Todos conocemos los efectos que tuvo la pandemia en la economía

mundial, así como también cómo funcionan las personas en la sociedad.
Sin duda, la pandemia ha causado dificultades a todos, afectando sus
estilos de vida, trabajo y escuela y cómo interactúan con los demás.
Personalmente, con el encierro y los problemas ocupacionales que
enfrentan las personas en mi país, las clases en línea ayudan aún más a
mi familia durante la crisis al hacer que no se preocupen por faltar a
clases o que mi seguridad esté en peligro al tener que viajar. Lo que
extraño es el apoyo que la escuela realmente brinda. El aprendizaje a
distancia ha sido difícil. Ha sido difícil de manejar, aprender a sí mismo
a través de asignaciones. Intento hacer mi trabajo cuando todos
duermen por la noche. Si estuviera en la escuela, habría aprendido
mucho más gracias a que un maestro me prestó más atención. El
aprendizaje a distancia para mí hasta ahora ha sido difícil pero
manejable. La mayoría de mis clases consisten en completar el trabajo
que se publica en Google Classroom con una reunión de Zoom cada dos
semanas. No creo que esté aprendiendo tanto como lo haría en la
escuela porque no recibo una lección de mis maestros todos los días.
Mis maestros me han ayudado mucho respondiendo preguntas sobre las
asignaciones rápidamente. A decir verdad, es mucho que manejar ya que
no estoy físicamente en la escuela trabajando con mis compañeros y
profesores. Pero estar en casa en mi zona de confort me ha ayudado a
organizarme más con mi trabajo. Esta pandemia se trata de
preguntarnos qué queremos todos para el futuro y qué lecciones
podemos llevarnos a las crisis futuras para cuidarnos mejor los unos a
los otros y pensar en la solidaridad. ¡Estamos todos juntos en esto!
We all know the effects the pandemic had on the world economy as
well as how people function in society. Without a doubt, the
pandemic has caused difficulties for everyone, affecting their
lifestyles, work, and school and how they interact with
others. Personally, with the lockdown and the occupational problems
facing the people in my country, online classes further help my
family during the crisis by making them not worry about missing
classes or my safety being endangered while having to travel. What I
miss is the support that school actually gives. Distance learning has
been difficult. It’s been hard to manage, teaching yourself through
assignments. I try to do my work when everybody is asleep at night.
If I was at school, I would’ve learned much more due to a teacher
paying more attention. Distance learning for me so far has been
difficult but manageable. Most of my classes consist of completing
work that is posted on Google Classroom with a Zoom meeting every
other week. I don’t believe I’m learning as much as I would have in
school because I’m not getting a lesson from my teachers every day.
My teachers have helped a lot by answering questions about
assignments quickly. To tell you the truth it is a lot to manage since
I’m not physically at school working with my classmates and teachers.
But being at home in my comfort zone has helped me become more
organized with my work. This pandemic is about asking what we all
want for the future, and what lessons we can take with us for
future crises to better care for each other and to think about
solidarity. We are all in this together!
