Confirman nuevo formato para el 2020 en la
Serie A del Futbol de Ecuador
En la tarde y noche de este martes, se pudo
confirmar desde el quinto Consejo de Presidentes
de LigaPro, que el formato del torneo
ecuatoriano cambiará desde el próximo año.
Luego de varias posibilidades de un nuevo
torneo, finalmente se llegó a un acuerdo para que
desde el 2020 se juegue en formato de 30
partidos, en donde chocarán todos contra todos.
 
Se disputarán 15 duelos de ida, y 15 de vuelta,
siendo los ganadores de cada etapa, los que
midan fuerzas para quedarse con el título de
campeón. En caso de que se repita el vencedor,
será campeón directo.
 
Además en la reunión de hoy se conoció que los
dirigentes analizarán por 30 días lo que harán
para el campeonato 2021, en donde aumentarán
el número de equipos
Y en otra noticia Noveno de la Liga Pro podría
jugar Copa Sudamericana
Esta tarde se confirmó por medio de un
comunicado redactado por la Secretaría General
de la Federación Ecuatoriana de Fútbol, sobre la
asignación del cuarto cupo por la Copa
Sudamericana 2020.
"Señalado en el artículo 17 de la Copa Ecuador
2019, será aplicado hasta lo 4 semifinalistas del
torneo", confirma la FEF, aclarando las dudas
ante la similitud entre Copa Ecuador y Liga Pro
EC.
Adicional a esto: "En caso que los clubes hayan
obtenido un cupo a Copa Libertadores o
Sudamericana, a través de la Liga Pro EC, el
cupo disponible será otorgado al octavo de la
acumulada".
