Cuando se describe animales debes mencionar si son grandes o pequeños.

Caracteristicas especiales que lo diferencian de otros, para ello debes usar el verbo
Have (tener) también se usa el verbo Can (poder) para mencionar la habilidad de
ese animal.

Big = grande Small pequeño Medium mediano

Example: The horse is big. (el caballo es grande)
The rabbit is small.( el conejo es pequeño)

No todos los perros tienen la cola larga o las orejas largas o las patas largas,
entonces podemos usar: el verbo Have. Cuando se habla de un animal se usa HAS
The dog has a long tail. (el perro tiene una cola larga)
The dog has a small tail. (el perro tiene una cola pequeña)
Pero el verbo HAVE se usa si hablo en general de todos o varios animales. Ejemplo:
The cats have long tail.
Can (puede) se usa para mencionar lo que el animal puede hacer: correr, jugar, nadar,
etc The horse can run fast. (el caballo puede correr rápido)
The dog can play with a ball (el perro puede jugar con una pelota)
