¿QUÉ SON LOS VERBOS REGULARES?

Los verbos regulares son los más simples de conjugar ya que su ortografía en simple past o past
participle es igual que en presente agregando una "d" o "ed" en el final.

Por ejemplo:

TIEMPO PRESENTE TIEMPO PASADO

I work = Yo trabajo I worked = Yo trabajé

I walk = Yo camino I walked = Yo caminé

I jump = Yo salto I jumped = Yo salté

I cook = Yo cocino I cooked = Yo cociné

I open = Yo abro I opened = Yo abrí

I close = Yo cierro I closed = Yo cerré

_El participio pasado indica algo que ha sucedido (ADO/ IDO) ej, yo he comido, vivido, trabajado,
reído, bailado.
Si el verbo termina en una consonante + "y", cambiamos la "y" por "i" y agregamos "ed".

Por ejemplo:

Marry: married/ married (casarse)

Study: studied/ studied (estudiar)

-Si el verbo termina en "e", simplemente agregamos una "d".

Por ejemplo:

Hate: hated/ hated (odiar)

Like: liked/ liked. (gustar)

Aquí hay algunos ejemplos de verbos regulares:

• "Yesterday Jack studied all day."

• "Raul has accepted the job offer."

• "Have you finished yet?"

• "We really liked the film we watched last night."

VERBOS IRREGULARES

Básicamente, los verbos irregulares en inglés son los que no se forman añadiendo -ed al final para
formar el pasado. Pero, además, existen algunos verbos irregulares que no varían en infinitivo,
pasado simple y participios.

Ejemplo de verbos irregulares:

Eat (comer) – ate – eaten

Go (ir) – went – goneBe (ser o estar) – was/were – been

Take (tomar)- took – taken

Speak (hablar) – spoke – spoken

Get (conseguir) – got – got

Find (encontrar)- found – found

Pay (pagar) – paid – paid

*Presente

I eat an apple. (yo como una manzana).

He writes his homework. (Él escribe sus deberes).

*Pasado

I ate an apple yesterday. (Ayer, yo comí una manzana).

He wrote his homework yesterday. (Ayer, el escribió sus deberes).

*Participio pasado

I have eaten an apple. (yo he comido una manzana).

He has written his homework. (él ha escrito sus deberes).

encuentran dentro de este.

Hello, I am Victor. Yesterday, I was in my house with all my family. We were doing different
activities. I was with my friend Eduardo; we were in my bedroom studying English and eating
candies. Right now, my sister Alejandra is in the living room with her friends; they are watching TV.

Last night, they were watching horror movies all night. The day before yesterday, my mother and
my grandmother were in the garage. My father was painting the dog’s house, and my uncle was
fixing his car. They are currently on the sofa watching a soccer game and drinking some beers
together.
