La reparación de cualquier avería debe ser llevada a cabo por personal
cualificado autorizado por Schneider. En caso contrario la garantía perdería su

Las especificaciones técnicas y la identificación de este electrodoméstico se

muestra en la correspondiente etiqueta. Consulte esta información antes de
proceder a la conexión del aparato a la corriente eléctrica.

La instalación de este electrodoméstico debe ser llevada a cabo por personal

cualificado y formado en las normativas actuales españolas aplicables.

Lea con atención estas instrucciones antes de usar la vitrocerámica. Con el uso
adecuado su nueva vitrocerámica ha sido diseñada para ser un electrodoméstico
fiable y seguro. Las siguientes precauciones reducirán el riesgo de quemaduras,
electrocuciones, incendios, lesiones...

Tome siempre precauciones cuando use electrodomésticos, incluyendo las

siguientes:

Este electrodoméstico debe ser correctamente instalado y conectado a la

corriente y a una toma de tierra adecuada por un técnico cualificado. Vea la
sección “Instrucciones de Instalación” para más información.

No repare o reemplace ninguna pieza de este aparato usted mismo/a. En caso de

necesidad remítase exclusivamente a un servicio técnico autorizado..

No permita que niños usen este electrodoméstico sin estrecha supervisión de un

adulto. Niños y mascotas no deben dejarse sin supervisión en la misma estancia
donde se esté utilizando la vitrocerámica. Nunca permita que los niños se suban
a la vitrocerámica.

No deje materiales inflamables sobre o cerca de la vitrocerámica.

Nunca use agua para apagar un fuego donde se combustiona grasa, ya que el
agua lo reavivaría. Use para ello un extintor adecuado.

Nunca use esta placa vitrocerámica para calentar una habitación.

Por su seguridad use ropa adecuada cuando utilice este producto. Hebras
sueltas, pañuelos, mangas anchas, etc. podrían involuntariamente entrar en
contacto con un foco encendido de la vitrocerámica con el consiguiente grave
riesgo de entrar en combustión y provocarle quemaduras.

Use únicamente recipientes secos. El uso de recipientes mojados o húmedos

sobre superficies calientes puede dar lugar a quemaduras por vapor.

Use recipientes con un tamaño adecuado. Esta placa vitrocerámica dispone de

varios focos de calor de diferentes tamaños. Use recipientes cuya base cubra
totalmente el foco que esté utilizando. De esta forma no desperdiciará energía y
evitará una exposición directa al foco, en cuyo contacto se pueden producir
quemaduras o fuego.

Mantenga siempre la vigilancia cuando esté usando esta vitrocerámica, sobre

todo a altas temperaturas. Un exceso de temperatura puede quemar los
alimentos o provocar salpicaduras de aceite o grasa hirviendo que podrían
originar un incendio.

No todos los recipientes de cristal o vitrocerámica son adecuados para su uso en

vitrocerámicas, ya que los cambios bruscos de temperatura y las altas
temperaturas que alcanza pueden hacerlos estallar. Compruebe las
especificaciones del recipiente para asegurarse de que está adaptado para su
uso con placas vitrocerámicas. Más información en la página 12.

Para reducir el riesgo de quemaduras, combustión de materiales inflamables,

derrames, etc, asegúrese de que los asas del recipiente que está calentando
estén situados hacia dentro de forma que no se toquen si no es de forma
intencionada.

No cocine si alguno de los focos está rajado o roto. Si la vitrocerámica está rajada
pueden penetrar líquidos conductores y corre riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
Póngase inmediatamente en contacto con un servicio técnico cualificado.

Realice la limpieza y mantenimiento con precaución. No entre en contacto

directo con la placa y tenga cuidado para no quemarse con el vapor que se
produzca. Algunos productos de limpieza pueden emanar gases nocivos si se
aplican sobre superficies calientes. Use siempre productos específicos para el
cuidado de placas vitrocerámicas.

1. Asegúrese de que las dimensiones del hueco de la encimera donde va a colocar

esta placa vitrocerámica se corresponden con las medidas indicadas en el gráfico
siguiente. Debe quedar un margen libre alrededor del hueco de al menos 50mm. El
grosor de la encimera debe ser de al menos 30mm y debe estar fabricada en un
material resistente al calor.

2. Es esencial que la placa esté bien ventilada y comprobar que las entradas y salidas
de aire no estén bloqueadas de ningún modo. Asegúrese de que la placa está
correctamente instalada como se muestra en la figura 2.

NOTA: Por razones de seguridad no debe haber muebles ni ningún otro objeto a
menos de 760mm sobre la superficie de la vitrocerámica.

3. Coloque la placa directamente sobre el correspondiente hueco de la encimera y

asegúrese de conectarla correctamente a la corriente eléctrica.

(1) La placa vitrocerámica debe ser instalada exclusivamente por personal
cualificado. Schneider dispone de un servicio técnico propio que puede hacer la
instalación si lo necesita. No trate de realizar la instalación por su cuenta.
(2) No instale la placa vitrocerámica encima de ningún otro electrodoméstico como
lavavajillas, lavadora, frigorífico bajo-encimera, etc.
(3) La placa vitrocerámica debe ser instalada de forma que la radiación de calor sea
óptima.
(4) Todas las zonas adyacentes a la vitrocerámica deben ser resistentes a altas
temperaturas.

CONEXIÓN A LA CORRIENTE:

El enchufe debe ser conectado con observancia de los estándares relativos al uso de
conmutadores unipolares. La forma de conexión se muestra en la figura 3.

Si el cable está dañado o necesita ser sustituido póngase en contacto con un servicio
técnico autorizado para evitar accidentes.
Si la conexión eléctrica se está realizando directamente a la red de suministro se
debe instalar un conmutador de corte omnipolar con un espaciado mínimo de 3mm
entre los contactos.
El instalador debe asegurarse de que la conexión se realiza correctamente y
cumpliendo con toda la normativa correspondiente.
El cable no debe estar pinzado ni presionado por ningún objeto. Compruébelo con
regularidad y solo permita que lo manipule personal cualificado.

Preparación antes del uso:
Pulse el botón de encendido / apagado para iniciar la vitrocerámica. Cuando esté
encendida sonará un pitido una vez y se iluminarán todos los indicadores durante un
segundo. Cuando se apaguen la vitrocerámica pasará a modo de espera de
instrucciones.

Instrucciones de operación:
1. Cuando se pulse el botón de encendido / apagado todos los indicadores
mostrarán “-”
2. Seleccione la zona que quiere activar pulsando sobre uno de los botones de
selección de zona de cocción.
3. Por defecto la zona elegida tiene prestablecido el valor 5 de potencia (ver tabla
de potencias en la página 11)
4. Seleccione la potencia que prefiera usando los botones “ ” y/o “ ” para cambiar
el valor 5.
5. Para cancelar (por ejemplo si quiere cambiar de zona de cocción o si ha
terminado de cocinar) presione ” ” hasta alcanzar el valor “0” y el foco
correspondiente se apaga.

Temporizador

Pulse el Temporizador y el indicador parpadeará. Establezca entonces un tiempo de
cocción de entre 1 y 99 minutos con los botones " " y " ". Cada vez que pulse “ ” o
“ “ el valor se modificará en 1 minuto. Cuando el valor introducido exceda los 99
minutos, el contador volverá a “0” minutos.

Para confirmar
1. Seleccione el nivel de potencia según se explicaba en el punto anterior y a
continuación pulse el botón “Temporizador” para ajustar el tiempo de
cocción.
2. Una vez seleccionado el tiempo espere 5 segundos y quedará confirmado.

Para cancelar
Pulse el botón “Temporizador” y use el botón “ ” para ponerlo de nuevo a “0”.

Bloqueo de seguridad
Para asegurar la seguridad de niños y adultos puede bloquear la unidad de forma
que no se encienda accidentalmente. Para bloquear: Pulse el botón “Bloqueo”
durante 3 segundos; entonces la vitrocerámica se bloquea, el indicador de tiempo
indica “L0” y el resto de los botones quedan inutilizados.

Para desbloquear la vitrocerámica mantenga pulsado el botón “Bloqueo” durante 5

segundos.

Anillo externo
El foco de la parte central derecha tiene 2 posiciones: 190mm y 210mm. Por defecto
se pone en marcha en la posición 190mm. Para activar el anillo externo y pasar a la
posición 210mm active el foco y presione el botón “Anillo externo” que se muestra a
continuación, cuyo LED se encenderá para confirmar la operación.

 USO DE R ECIPIENTES

La mayoría de recipientes de acero,

esmaltados, hierro, cerámicos y cobre
pueden ser usados en vitrocerámicas

Los recipientes de aluminio

no están recomendados,
al menos que su base esté espe-
cíficamente preparada para ello.

No se deben encender los fuegos si aún no

se ha colocado ningún recipiente. La base
del recipiente debe ser lisa y seca.
Los recipientes que han sido previamente utili-
zados en cocinas de gas suelen perder su pu-
lidez y por tanto absorben peor el calor.

Asegúrese de que el diámetro del

recipiente igual o mayor que el del
fuego en que lo sitúe.

No arrastre los recipientes sobre la super-

ficie vitrocerámica, ya que podría rayarla.
Levante siempre el recipiente para desplazarlo.

Nunca use papel de plata o contenedores de plás-

tico, ya que podrían fundirse y quedar adheridos
permanentemente a la superficie vitrocerámica,
dejando ésta inutilizable.

 LIMPIEZA
IMPORTANTE: Si la superficie vitrocerámica se rompe o nota que cruje
desconecte el equipo y póngase en contacto con un servicio técnico autorizado.

Limpie con frecuencia la superficie. No use

nunca productos abrasivos o estropajos.
Límpiela con un paño suave y limpio humedecido
con agua jabonosa.

Al menos una vez a la semana limpie toda la

superficie con productos específicos para pre-
servar y proteger placas vitrocerámicas.
Use una paleta especial para vitrocerámicas para
rascar la superficie y desincrustar restos.

Si azúcar (o productos azucarados) o plástico

Entran en contacto directo con un foco encendido,
retírelo con una paleta mientras el foco está aún
caliente. En caso contrario puede no ser posible
retirar los restos.

No cocine ni realice ningún tipo de actividad

sobre la vitrocerámica que no sea aquella para
la que ha sido diseñada.
Preste especial atención antes de empezar a cocinar
en que no haya líquidos ni suciedad sobre la placa.

Sistemas de seguridad

Para proteger la electrónica del aparato de un posible sobrecalentamiento si la

unidad de control detecta un calor excesivo en los circuitos apagará el foco más
cercano a los sensores activados y se mostrará la letra H en la pantalla. El foco
apagado podrá ser activado de Nuevo una vez se recupere la temperatura de
funcionamiento normal.

Cada foco está equipado con un limitador de temperatura interno que apaga el foco
si la temperatura de la superficie es excesiva.

Si detecta alguna grieta sobre la superficie vitrocerámica desconecte el aparato

inmediatamente de la corriente y póngase en contacto con el servicio técnico. No use
la vitrocerámica hasta que no sea reparada.

Automático

Transcurrido un cierto periodo de tiempo los focos se apagan automáticamente para

prevenir olvidos. Los tiempos corresponden a la potencia seleccionada según los
valores de la siguiente tabla:

Repair of any faults in your ceramic hob must be carried out only by an
Authorized Repair Service technician; otherwise the guarantee is not valid.

The technical details and identification of the appliance are shown on the
specification plate. Consult this plate before proceeding with electrical
connection.

Electrical connection must be carried out by a certified specialist familiar with

official regulations.

I MP O R TAN T SA F E T Y I NS TR UC TI O NS

Read all instructions carefully before using this ceramic hob. When properly cared
for, your new ceramic hob has been designed to be a safe and reliable appliance.
These precautions will reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire and injury. When
using kitchen appliances, basic safety precautions must be followed, including the
following:

This appliance must be properly installed and grounded by a qualified technician.

Only connect to a properly grounded outlet. See electric preparation and
connection instructions in the Installation Instructions.

Do not repair or replace any part of the ceramic hob unless specifically
recommended. Refer service only to an authorized service center.

Do not allow children to use this appliance unless closely supervised by an adult.
Children and pets should not be left alone or unattended in the area where the
appliance is in use. Never allow children to sit or stand on any part of the ceramic
hob.

Do not store flammable materials in or near the ceramic hob.

Do not use water on a grease fire. Smother fire or use a dry chemical or
foam-type extinguisher.

Never use the ceramic hob to warm or heat a room.

For personal safety, wear proper clothing. Loose fitting garments or shirts with
hanging sleeves should never be worn while using this appliance.

Use only dry potholders .Moist or damp potholders on hot surfaces may result in
burns from steam. Do not let potholders touch hot heating elements. Do not use
a towel or other bulky cloth.

Use proper pan size. This appliance is equipped with one or more surface units of
different sizes. Select pans with having flat bottoms large enough to cover the
surface unit heating element. The use of undersized pans will expose a portion of
the heating element to direct contact and may result in ignition of clothing.
Proper coverage of pots and pans to burner will also improve efficiency.

Never leave surface units unattended at high heat settings. Boil over causes
smoking and greasy spillovers that may ignite.

Make sure reflector pans or drip bowls are in place. Absence of such may subject
wiring or components underneath to damage.

Protective Liners. Do not use aluminum foil to line surface unit drip bowls or
oven bottoms, except as suggested in the manual. Improper installation of these
liners may result in electric shock, or fire.

Glazed cooking utensils. Only certain types of glass, glass/ceramic, ceramic,

earthenware, or other glazed pots and pans are suitable for range-top service
due to the sudden change in temperature, which may result in breakage - see
page 15 for reference.

To reduce the risk of burns, ignition of flammable materials, and spillage due to
unintentional contact with the utensil, the cookware handles should be
positioned so that they are turned inward, and does not extend over adjacent
surface units.

Do not soak removable heating elements. Heating elements should never be

immersed in water.

Do not cook on a broken ceramic hob. If your ceramic hob should break or crack,
cleaning solutions and spillovers may penetrate the broken ceramic hob and
create a risk of electric shock. Contact a qualified technician immediately.

Clean ceramic hob with caution. Be careful to avoid steam burns if a wet sponge
or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot cooking area. Some cleaners can produce
noxious fumes if applied to a hot surface.

1. Cut a hole in the worktop of the dimension shown in the diagram below A
minimum of 50mm space should be left around the hole The worktop should be at
least 30mm thick and made of heat resistant material.

2. It is essential that the Ceramic hob is well ventilated and that the air intake and exit
are not blocked. Make sure the ceramic hob is correctly installed as shown in
Figure 2..

NOTE: For safety the gap between the hob and any cupboard above it should be at
least 760mm.

3. Fix the ceramic hob to the cut hole directly. And connect the electric power
properly.

(1) The Ceramic hob must be installed by a properly qualified person. If needed we
have our own qualified installers. Never try to install the appliance by yourself.
(2) The Ceramic hob must not be installed above refrigerators freezers,
dishwashers or tumble dryers.
(3) The Ceramic hob should be installed so that optimum radiation of heat is
possible.
(4) The wall and the area above the ceramic hob should be able to withstand heat.
(5) To avoid any damage the sandwich layer and adhesive should be heat
resistant.

CO N NE CT IO N TO P OWE R SUP P LY

The socket should be connected in compliance with the relevant standard to a single
pole circuit breaker the method of connection is shown in Figure3.

If the cable is damaged or needs replacing this should be done by an after sales
technician using the proper tools so as to avoid any accidents.
If the appliance is being connected directly to the mains supply an omni polar circuit
breaker must be installed with a minimum gap of 3mm between the contacts.
The installer must ensure that the correct electrical connection has been made and
that it complies with safety regulations.
The cable must not be bent or compressed the cable must be checked regularly and
only replaced by a properly qualified person.

Preparation before using:

When the power is switched on the buzzer will sound once and all the indicators will
come on for one second and then go out The Ceramic hob is now in standby mode.

Operating instructions:
1. When the ON / OFF key is pressed, all the indicators show “-”.
2. Select the power level by pressing the “+”or “-” key for the relevant hotplate.
3. To begin with the indicator shows “5” (see the table on page 11 for the power
specific to each cooking zone).
4. Adjust up or down by pressing the “ ”or “ ”key.
5. Select the working zone, the level LED will be flashing, then press ” “ key till the
LED shows ”0”. The selected working zone will be turned off..

Timer
Press the timing key and the indicator will start flashing Then set the time for
between 1 and 99 minutes by pressing the " " and " "
Pressing the" " key once increases the time by one minute pressing the" " key once
decreases the time by one minute pressing the " " key once decreases the time by
one minute. When the time by one minute. When the set time exceeds 99 minutes, it
will automatically return to “0” minutes.

Confirmation
1. Select the power level of the cooking zone and then press the “Timer” key.
The timer can now be set.
2. When the timing indicator has been flashing for 5 seconds, the set time will
be automatically confirmed.

Cancellation
If you want to cancel the timer, press the timer key while the double LED flashing,
press ” “ till the LED shows “0”. The timer will be canceled.

Security Lock
To ensure the safety of children, the induction hob is fitted with an interlock device.
To lock: hold down the “Inter lock” key for 2 seconds; the hob then goes into
“Interlock” mode, the timer shows “L0” and the rest of the keys are disabled.

To unlock hold down the interlock key for 5 seconds and the hob will return to
normal working.

Outer ring
During the hob in the middle right is working, hold down the double circle key, the
working zone of the hob in the middle right will extend to 210mm, and the outer
circle indicator led will be turn on.

Most stainless steel, enamel, iron, ceramic

and copper pans can be used on ceramic hobs.

Aluminum pans are not recommended as they

may stain the surface, unless they have stain-
less steel encapsulated bottoms.

Hotplates should not be switched on without a

pan on top. The base of the pan should be flat
and dry. Pans that have been used on gas coo-
kers are not normally completely flat and ab-
sorb heat badly.

Make sure that the diameter of the pan is at

least that of the hotplate.

Avoid dragging pans over the radiant glass sur-

face, as it may get scratched. Always lift the pan.

Never use tin foil or plastic containers. They may

melt and fuse permanently with the radiant glass
surface.

IMPORTANT: If the radiant glass surface breaks or you notice cracks in it,
disconnect the equipment. Call your Repair Service Technician.

Clean the radiant glass surface frequently, when it is

cool. Never use abrasive products or pads. Clean with
a damp cloth and soapy water.

Once a week, clean thoroughly with specific products

that preserve and protect ceramic hobs hobs. Scrape
off stuck on stuck dirt with a scraper.

If sugar (or sugary matter) or plastic is

accidentally burnt on the ceramic hob, remove
at once with the scraper while still hot.
Otherwise it may leave a permanent mark.

Do not use the ceramic hob as a work surface.

Be particulary careful with dirt or dust from
vegetables, cleaning powders, etc. which
may scratch the surface when pans are slid
over it.

Safety systems

In order to protect the electronics from overheating if the control unit detects
excessive heat it will switch off the hotplate closest to the sensors and the letter H
will appear on the display. This hotplate can be activated when the temperature of
the electronic unit returns to normal.
Each hotplate is equiped with an interior temperature limiter that switches off the
hotplate if the radiant surface is heated excessively.

If any cracks appear in the radiant surface, immediately disconnect it from the mains.
Do not use any part of the ceramic hob until a new radiant surface has been fitted.

Automático

If a hotplate is left on accidentally, it will automatically be switched off after a period

of time has elapsed, depending on the power level that has been selected:
