 EXPLICACIÓN Y ESTRUCTURA

“Will” es un verbo auxiliar que utilizamos para hablar en tiempo futuro en inglés; se utiliza para todos
los pronombres personales (I, you, he, they, etc) sin distinción. Después de la palabra “will” el verbo
debemos usar la forma básIca sin “to” (ejemplos: play, listen, go, etc). Esta es la estructura:
Afirmativo:
-I will be a great doctor in the future (Seré un gran doctor en el futuro)
-She will need a bigger house. (Ella va a necesitar una casa más grande)

Negativo (Para el negativo se puede utilizar ambas formas “will not” o “won’t” sin ningún problema):
-They will not come to the party tonight (Ellos no vendrán a la fiesta esta noche)
-You won’t have a good job (No tendrás un buen trabajo)

Preguntas y respuestas cortas:

-Will he cook spaghetti tomorrow? (¿Él va a cocinar espagueti mañana?)
Yes, he will. (sí)
No, he won’t. (no)
FUTURE TENSE WITH WILL
Regla para producir oraciones con will.
WILL
We use will to make a prediction based on what you think or image.
Se usa will para expresar una predicción basada en lo que piensas o imaginas. ejemplo:
● I want to play tennis tomorrow, but it’ll probably rain.
● Next year all schools will have computers and free wifi.
We use will to make an offer or a promise.
Usamos will para hacer una oferta o una promesa.
● I can’t do my homework. I’ll help you.
● I’ll be careful, I promise.
We use will to make an instant decision.
Usamos el will cuando tomamos una decisión instantánea,es decir una acción que realizaré como
una consecuencia de un estado actual por ejemplo; mi estado actual es “tengo sed” y me decisión
es “voy a beber agua”. Esta decisión no fue tomada ayer, ni será tomada mañana, sino en este
preciso momento por lo tanto debe utilizar will.
● I am thirsty, I will drink water.
● I’m tired. I think I’ll go to bed.
● Would you like a drink? Yes, I’ll have a coke please.
EXAMPLES:
I believe she will be a great mother. I believe she’ll be a great mother.
I believe she will not be a great mother. I believe she won’t be a great mother
Will she be a great mother? Yes, she will No, she won’t.

He thinks he will pass the exam. He thinks he’ll pass the exam.
He thinks he will not pass the exam. He thinks he won’t pass the exam.
Will he pass the exam? Yes, he will. No, he won’t.
