According to the document: Chapter 1. “Practical and Normative Ethics” by. Torbjörn
Tännsjö, (pp. 1 -12) It is claimed that, The general idea behind applied ethics is the following:
in order to gain knowledge about what to do in a practical situation we need true or reasonable
moral principles to apply to the case under scrutiny.
Por lo tanto, me parece que la esencia de ese libro del profesor Tannsjo
radica en el estudio juicioso del problema de la ética normativa en lo
concerniente a los conflictos de la humanidad en el ámbito de la lucha
entre el bien y el mal y cómo la ceguera moral ha llevado a que sucedan
cosas terribles principalmente en las tres áreas citadas por el autor: la
represión por parte de la especie humana de otras especies (animales),
nuestra complacencia en nuestra relación con la destrucción de nuestro
medio ambiente siendo el calentamiento global el ejemplo más conocido
y discutido, y en tercer lugar, cómo la parte rica del mundo tolera el
hambre y la pobreza extrema en las partes pobres del mundo. (pag.2).
