COLORS AND ADJECTIVES (DESCRIBING PEOPLE)

Observa la ilustración:

Al hablar de colores es necesario hablar de adjetivos. Un adjetivo es una palabra que indica una cualidad.
Los adjetivos en ingles no se pluralizan, de esta manera red significa rojo, roja, rojos, rojas… por lo
tanto es incorrecto escribir reds.

En inglés los adjetivos no tienen género ni número. Es decir, tienen la misma forma en singular y en plural,
así como en femenino y masculino. Usualmente preceden al sustantivo. El adjetivo siempre requiere que
haya un sustantivo.

Ejemplo:

a. She is a good teacher (Ella es una buena profesora)

b. They are good teachers (Ellas son buenas profesoras)
c. He is a good teacher (Él es un buen professor)

looking, tall, unattractive/ugly, athletic, old, fat/overweight/chubby.
 2. LEE LA DESCRIPCIÓN Y RELACIÓNALA CON LA FOTOGRAFÍA

a. She is young. She is not very tall. Her hair is long, straight and blond. Her eyes are brown.
She is pretty.

b. He is 30. His eyes are green. His hair is short, wavy and he is blond. He is handsome and
he is a very good actor.

c. She is tall and thin. Her hair is long and straight. Her eyes are brown. She is beautiful.

d. He is tall, thin and athletic. His hair is curly and blond. His eyes are brown. He is a good sportsman.
