Para k = 1 cumple, ahora para el paso dos supongamos que se cumple para k y veamos si se
cumple para k + 1, con k + 1 ∈ S .

(k + 1)3 + 5(k + 1) = (k 3 + 5k) + 3k 2 + 3k + 6 (2)
(k + 1)3 + 5(k + 1) = (k 3 + 5k) + 6 + 3k 2 + 3k (3)
y como se cumple para k entonces (k3 + 5k) es divisible por 6 luego (k3 + 5k) + 6 también es
divisible por 6, falta probar que 3k2 + 3k es divisible por 6.
3k 2 + 3k = 3k(k + 1)
3k(k + 1) también es divisible por 6, ya que k(k + 1) es par siempre, entonces 3k(k + 1) diviseble
por 6, por todo lo anterior se concluye que (k + 1)3 + 5(k + 1) = (k3 + 5k) + 6 + 3k2 + 3k, luego
se cumple para k + 1, por tanto S = N, es decir que para todo n ∈ N se tiene que n3 + 5n, es
divisible por 6.
