ABSTRACT: This paper presents the geotechnical analysis to design the restraint system stabilize 48 m height slope, it
has composite geometry and ground surface forming by varying cementing volcanic soils. The slope it is located in the
west of Mexico City. The neighbor stopped invading their land for the stabilization system, that is why the solution were
made by a soil-cement wall for the first 4 m height; the following 17 m height come stabilized using a passive anchors
and shotcrete cover, the next 23 m height were stabilized with pos-tensioning anchors structure system and a shotcrete
membrane. The slope analysis for the design of the restraint system was calculated with traditional methods, the solution
was revised with the finite element program PLAXIS, to estimate the deformation in the soil mass.
