Machu picchu por es la cuidad más antigua, fue construida en el siglo XV por el emperador
Pachacútec, al parecer como un lugar sagrado, como una residencia real y un refugio vestal
para las vírgenes consagradas al dios Inti (sol). Lo que la hace interesante es que se
encuentra construida en la cordillera de los Andes cima de una montaña en medio de un
bosque de nubes. Y también por sus impresionantes, templos, residencias, monolitos,
fuentes de agua, canales subterráneos, terrazas agrícolas; todo en función al sol.
Se encuentra ubicado en América latina en la región Cusco, provincia de Urubamba,
distrito de Machupichu, sobre el Valle Sagrado de los Incas, al noroeste de la ciudad de
Cusco, del Perú.
Machu Picchu es un viaje al pasado, los paisajes son impresionantes, es conocida, tanto por
sus imponentes restos arqueológicos, como por su ubicación, al borde de un abismo en
cuyo fondo corren las caudalosas aguas del río Urubamba. Por sus construcciones
maravillosas como son las murallas, terrazas y rampas gigantescas dan la impresión de
haber sido esculpidas en las escarpaduras de la roca, como si formaran parte de ésta.; así lo
disfrutaras, es una de las 7 maravillas del mundo Machu Picchu, en la ciudad inca todo
podría ser muy caro.

Peru with my friends knowing one of the seven wonders of the world, I am very
