En la guía de trabajo académico que presentamos a continuación se le plantea


actividades de aprendizaje que deberá desarrollar en los plazos establecidos y
considerando la normativa e indicaciones del Docente Tutor.

Las consultas e inquietudes se harán en las tutorías virtuales con el docente en los
horarios programados para el curso miércoles y jueves de 18:40 – 20:20 p.m. y al

6. Creating advertisements (5 points)

What is your opinion about the use of internet? Is it safe or risky? Why?

These days people use the internet all day. However, many young people don’t
know how to use technology safety. For example, if they need a PIN for their
bank card, they use “1234” or “5555” . If they are asked to create a password,
some just use their own name. On websites like Facebook, many teenagers
don’t use the security settings –anyone can see their information. We need to
teach young people how to be safe online.

 Reflect about the unsafe use of Internet by young people.


 Search information about the dangers of Internet.

Make an advertisement about safety and technology

Nowadays the use of internet is very useful for our life, but the unsafe use of internet by young
people is a common problem in our society. This is an opportunity because is an advantage to
be able to research and search a lot of information in an easy way thanks to the internet, even
if not always young people do this, instead of this, they waste time doing another things.

For that reason their parents have to control the time of use of internet. Young people are
vulnerable of many of this type of problems, so they need a person who guides them. At the
same time this it can cause illness or damage health.

Overall, we need to know how to control our actions, and everything in excess is harmful not
only the use of the internet if not what we do.

The problems that causes the use of internet are for example:

 Phishing: Is when someone trick you into clicking dangerous links are called
fishing, in addition cybercriminals can use this as a way to gather personal
information about a person and demand money from them.
 Theft of personal information: It could cause problems in your life, because all
you post on internet can be see for everyone. In addition, your personal
information could be hacked, and the hacker can know all your bank or credit
card details until harass you.
 Cyberbullying: This happen because many teenagers or young people make
fun of others in social networks and also offend them. One of the consequences
is for example feel disinterested in life because for some people, life can feel
hopeless and meaningless, also they could lose interest in some things they
once enjoyed and spend less time with their friends and family.
