ÁLAJAR
Municipio ubicado en el interior de la Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche, un manto
de encinas, alcornoques, castaños y robles arropan sus calles sinuosas de clara
influencia islámica, orientadas a una de las joyas más preciadas de la comarca: la Peña
de Arias Montano. Un espectáculo de la naturaleza consagrado como refugio y lugar
mágico ya en los albores de la historia: los yacimientos más antiguos nos trasladan a la
prehistoria de la Edad de Bronce.
Municipality located in the interior of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche, a
mantle of holm oaks, cork oaks, chestnut trees and oak trees surround its sinuous
streets ofclear Islamic influence, oriented to one of the most preciousjewels of the

MILL ROUTE
En las afueras de Alájar junto a la Ribera de Huelva transcurre este precioso sendero.
Los aprovechamientos de los recursos naturales y el desarrollo tecnológico-industrial
nos han legado construcciones tan interesantes como los molinos de rodeznos, que
acompasan el lento ritmo del paisaje de la tierra.

ALOSNO
ALOSNO se encuentra situado en el corazón de la comarca del Andévalo, cuna y madre
del fandango de Huelva. El fandango ha estado y está íntimamente ligado a la vida de
Alosno y en sus letras ha quedado plasmada su historia, costumbres, sentimientos y
forma de vida.
ALOSNO is located in the heart of the Andévalo region, birthplace and mother of the
fandango of Huelva. The fandango has been and is intimately linked to the life of

CALAÑAS
A lo largo de toda su historia está estrechamente vinculada con la minería, ubicada en
el centro de la provincia de Huelva y en la Comarca del Andévalo. Distintas
civilizaciones, como la tartesa y la romana, llegaron a suelo calañés atraídas por sus
riquezas mineras, buscando cobre, oro y plata, sostenes fundamentales para su
economía.

of Huelva and in the Shire of Andévalo.
Different civilizations, such as the tartesa and theRoman, came to the Calañés soil
attracted by its miningriches, looking for copper, gold and silver, fundamental

La Torerera en un enclave situado al sur de Calañas rodeado al norte y el este por

verdes y frondosos pinares, al sur el arroyo de Gataperosa y al oeste por una mancha
de encinas y bosque mediterráneo.
La Torerera es un ejemplo del devenir de los negocios mineros que surgieron durante
el siglo XX.

EL ALMENDRO
El Almendro es un municipio de la provincia de Huelva, que se encuentra ubicado en el
Andévalo más occidental de la provincia onubense y que ocupa una estrecha franja de
terreno que toca en su extremo oeste con la frontera de Portugal.
El Almendro is a municipality in the province of Huelva, located in the western most
Andévalo of the province of Huelva and occupying a narrow strip of land that touches
at its western end with the border of Portugal.

EL CAMPILLO.
Con menos de un siglo de historia como municipio, El Campillo se ha forjado en muy
poco tiempo un carácter aguerrido, paralelo a su vinculación durante casi todo el siglo
XX a la explotación minera de la Faja Pirítica.
With less than a century of history as a municipality, El Campillo has forged in a very
short time a hardened character, parallel to its connection throughout the entire
twentieth century to the mining of the Pirigic Strip.

Todo el recorrido de esta ruta cuenta con una impresionante vista de las Minas de
Riotinto en contraste con la vegetación y una increíble panorámica de toda la sierra
norte de Huelva. Tiene como atractivo turístico su rico paisaje minero, el cual se
mezcla con la vegetación de la zona y distintas balsas y construcciones mineras ya en
desuso.

EL GRANADO
El Granado es un municipio español de la provincia de Huelva, Andalucía. En su
término municipal se encuentra el Puerto de La Laja, último tramo navegable del río
Guadiana. Desde 2008 es frontera con Portugal, con la pequeña aldea vecina de
Pomarão, a través del Puente Internacional del Bajo Guadiana.
El Granado is a municipality located in the province of Huelva, Andalusia, Spain. In its
municipality is the Port of La Laja, the last navigable stretch of the Guadiana River.
Since 2008 it has been bordering Portugal, with the small neighboring village of
Pomarcao, through the Lower Guadiana International Bridge.

GUADIANA GREENWAY.
La Vía Verde del Guadiana está estrechamente ligada a la historia de la minería en esta
zona de la Provincia de Huelva, el Andévalo Occidental. Recorre sólo parte del trazado
original ferroviario, extendiéndose entre dos poblados, Minas de la Isabel y El Puerto
de La Laja, este último a orillas del río se corresponde con el punto final del itinerario
del tren.

Province, the Western Andévalo. It covers only part of the original railway route,
extending between two villages, Minas de la Isabel and El Puerto de La Laja, the latter

 2. CAMINO NATURAL DEL GUADIANA.

GUADIANA NATURAL WAY.

El camino natural se inicia en la Laguna Blanca (Albacete) y finaliza en Ayamonte
(Huelva), comprendiendo 775,90 Km y 44 etapas. Una de estas etapas transcurre por el
Granado que comienza en un antiguo cuartel rehabilitado llamado “Cañaveral”, la vía
discurre hasta llegar al Puerto de la Laja paralela al río Guadiana, acondicionada con
barandas de madera en los lugares más escarpados.

The natural path begins in the Laguna Blanca (Albacete) and ends in Ayamonte
(Huelva), comprising 775.90 km and 44 stages. One of these stages takes place in the
Granado that begins in an old rehabilitated barracks called "Cañaveral", the road runs
until reaching the Port of la Laja parallel to the Guadiana River, conditioned with
wooden railings in the steepest places.

EL ROMPIDO
El Rompido es un precioso pueblo marinero que se encuentra situado en el Paraje
Natural de las Marismas del Río Piedras y Flecha del Rompido en Huelva. Se trata de un
asentamiento pesquero tradicional que pertenece al término municipal de Cartaya y es
uno de los pueblos que mejor conservan el estilo y la arquitectura de un típico pueblo
marítimo.
El Rompido is a beautiful fishing village located in the Natural Park of the Marshes of
the Piedras River and Arrow of the Rompido in Huelva. It is a traditional fishing village
that belongs to the municipality of Cartaya and is one of the villages that best
preserves the style and architecture of a typical maritime village.

1. SENDERO DEL RIO PIEDRAS Y DE LA TURBERA

STONE RIVER TRAIL AND OF THE TUBERA

El recorrido transcurre por el Paraje Natural "Marismas del Río Piedras y Flecha de El
Rompido". El sendero nos lleva hasta el tramo final del río Piedras, poco antes de su
desembocadura. Frente a nosotros se puede observar una amplia panorámica del
último tramo del río con el puerto de El Terrón, la Ermita y Romería de la Bella y, algo
más al fondo, el núcleo turístico de La Antilla.

LA PALMA DEL CONDADO.
Villa perteneciente a la comarca del Condado, situada al este de la provincia en un
paisaje de terrenos agrí-colas dedicados al cultivo de cereales, olivo y
fundamentalmente viñedos, que producen los exquisitos caldos blancos de la
denominación de origen del Condado.
De origen romano, bella, blanca y señorial. En su conjunto resulta una población de
gran atractivo urbano y ejemplo del barroco onubense.
Villa belonging to the region of the County, located in the east of the province in a
landscape of agricultural land dedicated to the cultivation of cereals, olive trees and
mainstream vineyards, which produce the exquisite white broths of the denomination

LA PUEBLA DE GUZMÁN
Pueblo de la raya fronteriza con Portugal perteneciente a la comarca del Andévalo,
situado en una pequeña colina rodeada de arbolado y cuyas tierras se dedican a la
agricultura de cereales y olivo. Vinculada a la minería en su aldea Las Herrerías donde
podemos apreciar los restos de esta historia minera.

Mina de Las Herrerías y la respectiva aldea minera es una emblemática explotación
minera tanto bajo tierra como a cielo abierto desde el siglo XIX. Se encuentra cerca de
la localidad de Puebla de Guzmán.

LINARES DE LA SIERRA.
Municipio situado en el centro del Parque Natural de la Sierra de Aracena y Picos de
Aroche, uno de los espacios protegidos más importantes de la Comunidad y que ocupa
todo el norte de la provincia con sus dehesas y pequeñas elevaciones cubiertas.

GUIDE ROUTE WATER ROAD.

Las antiguas cortas de agua están situadas a lo largo del recorrido de las dos riberas
que abrazan el municipio, por el este Ribera de Plamencia y por el oeste Ribera de
Palma. Estas cortas canalizan las aguas de las riberas y manantiales a través de
acequias o lievas para alcanzar su destino “las huertas de los vecinos”, y con ello regar
sus hortalizas y frutales.

NERVA
La población onubense de Nerva es famosa por sus minas perteneciente al Andévalo y
situada al este de la provincia, en el límite con la provincia de Sevilla, en un paisaje
telúrico y montañoso propio de todo el Parque Minero.

SANLÚCAR DE GUADIANA
Sanlúcar de Guadiana es sin duda alguna una de las poblaciones de la provincia de
Huelva con mayor encanto, ya que aúna en una sola localidad: historia, paisajes, tierra
y río. Rio Guadiana, arteria de vida que recorre casi sus calles, y fuente de la riqueza de
este pueblo andevaleño.

SANTA ANA LA REAL
Al norte de la provincia de Huelva se encuentra ubicado el acogedor pueblo de Santa
Ana la Real. Situado en un pequeño valle delimitado por el Cerro Castillejo y las
Cumbres de la Serrachuela, más del 70 por ciento de su superficie se encuentra dentro
de los límites del Parque Natural de la Sierra de Aracena y los Picos de Aroche. Entre su
patrimonio destaca la arquitectura popular tradicional de la zona.

Located in a small valley bounded by Cerro Castillejo and the Serrachuela Summits,

Saliendo de Santa Ana la Real, se pasa por alcornocales y castañares, algunos pinos,
encinas, chopos, alisos… es parte de la Ruta de los Hornos de Cal. Se visita la cascada
del Joyoarancón, y después la Ribera de Santa Ana o Bosque de las Letras, donde hay
poemas en algunos árboles y un hermoso depósito para intercambiar libros.

SANTA BÁRBARA DE CASAS.
Ubicado al noroeste de la provincia de Huelva, perteneciente a la comarca de
Andévalo. Este pueblo tiene unos orígenes muy antiguos, lo que atestiguan los restos
prehistóricos que se han encontrado en sus cercanías, como es el dólmen de La Zarcita
y una importante colección arqueológica que se encuentra en el Museo Provincial de

pero en estas últimas décadas es conocido por su industria del zapato, en concreto los
botos. Es uno de los pueblos con mayor número de población en la comarca.

ZALAMEA LA REAL
Un pueblo con una historia muy importante en la provincia desde épocas ancestrales.
Zalamea la Real se halla en la comarca de Cuenca Minera, las leyendas populares
afirman que los primeros habitantes de la zona provenían de Próximo Oriente, siendo
Salomea, hija del Rey Salomón, una de las fundadoras de los primeros asentamientos
humanos de la región.
A town with a very important history in the province since ancient times. Zalamea la
Real is located in the region of Cuenca Minera, popular legends affirm that the first
inhabitants of the area came from the Middle East, being Salomea, daughter of King
Solomon, one of the founders of the first human settlements of the region.

GUIDED ROUTE TO THE DOLMENICO EL POZUELO COMPLEX

Estos monumentos pertenecen al Calcolítico o Edad del Cobre, cuyo ritual funerario
estaba caracterizado por el levantamiento de dólmenes con corredor y una o varias
cámaras dobles, triples o quíntuples, con diferentes trazados y tamaños. Se ha dado
una cronología general para los once sepulcros de El Pozuelo entre el 3000 y el 2500 a.
C., definiéndolos como las primeras arquitecturas prehistóricas de la provincia de
Huelva.

characterized by the lifting of dolmens with corridors and one or more double
chambers, triple or fivefold, with different layouts and sizes. A general chronology has

them as the first prehistoric architectures of the province of Huelva.
