gama de producto y dar cabida a otros diseñadores.
Con 125 años de historia y estas nuevas colaboraciones,
JMM ha encontrado un camino donde convergen ambas
marcas, dialogando entre sí y creando espacios donde
apetece trabajar.

José Martínez Medina (JMM) is a signature brand that has

specialised in the production of work and meeting spaces.
The newly created BlackTone brand has broadened the
firm’s product range and has wisely accomodated the talent
of other collaborating designers.
With 125 years of history, and now with the consolidation
of these new collaborations, JMM has found a path where
both brands converge, where dialogue between the two is
serenely established; the result is new spaces where we are
all more than happy to work in.

This comfortable stool comprises two different
moulds in its structure and is exclusive to
the new BlackTone line. Lightness has been
envisaged in the stool’s design; grasping it
has been made easy. The footrest is made out
of solid American walnut.
Of intermediate height and is user-friendly, Dry

The DRY collection grows with PUNCH,
FRENCH & MARGARITA. They are a family of
stools, chairs and armchairs characterized by
the contrast between their bold aesthetic seat
and the minimal structure. A contemporary
architectural form almost in equilibrium, that
gives an ergonomical feeling once you sit
on it.
The common characteristic of this family
is the 2 upholstered shells that is always
elegantly completed with visible stitching that
defines the object volumes and edges.
The contrast between leather in the inside
and fabric in the outside makes the seat
embracing and extremely comfortable,
giving infinity possibilities of combinations
and finishes suitable for any space such as

A seating arrangement akin to a bench,
that due to its comfort and appearance,
approaches the concept of a sofa. Here
different seating options are available, as
are different table-top surfaces. The almost
sculptural legs stand out, due to the manner
in which they are inserted into the lower
timber frame. We have here a versatile
collection that allows different configurations
to be made with adjoining benches at angles
of 90º or 180º.
Fabric-covered elements have an internal
wooden structure comprising rubber
fillings of varying densities; backrests are
absolutely comfortable resulting from a
special manufacturing technique. Last but
not least, flat surfaces are made of marble,
wood or leather. This seating solution is ideal
in maintaining a correct posture in reception

a lo largo de ya más de una década,
puede explicarse por un lado por la fuerte
vinculación con su origen y la escultura
del norte de la península, y a través de la
relación/conexión entre las vanguardias y la
poética de las manifestaciones culturales más
ancestrales. Arqueología del tiempo.

The work done by Guillermo Lourido extends

CORRAL
Javier Corral (Alzira, 1973) es un ingeniero y
diseñador gráfico valenciano dedicado desde
hace unos años a reinterpretar la manera en
la que se observa la arquitectura y su relación
con las personas que habitan los edificios.
Como si de una partitura se tratara, no duda
en secuestrar cada elemento que osa cruzarse
en su camino; despojándolo de artificio y
transformándolo en una suerte de perfecta y
estilizada composición. Nos obliga a escuchar
su arquitectura e invita a leer en cada una de
sus armonías. Muy despacio, con la misma
suavidad con que la aguja se posa sobre el
vinilo, con esa pausa hay que contemplar
su obra. Una, dos... cien veces. Tratar de
descubrir las historias tras esas fachadas
que Javi logra humanizar es un placer voyeur,
inspirador pero adictivo.

Javier Corral (Alzira, 1973) is an engineer
and graphic designer from Valencia that has
dedicated his work in the last years to the
reinterpretation of the way people observe
architecture and its relation with the people
living in the buildings. As in a music score,
he steals every element that his in his way,
depriving it from any artifice and transforming
it in a fortune of perfect and slender
arrangement. He makes us listen to his
architecture and invites us to read in-between
his harmonies.
His work has to be contemplated exactly
with this time out, very slowly, the same as
when the needle perches gently on the vinyl.
One, two…hundred times. Trying to discover
the stories behind these façades that Javier
manages to make more human is a voyeur
pleasure, inspiring but addictive.
