Su
repertorio abarca todas las épocas y estilos musicales, desde el Barroco hasta la música contemporánea.
Han colaborado con la Orquesta solistas de reconocido prestigio como Diego Tárrega (Tenor), Oksana
Solovieva (Violín), así como directores invitados como el Maestro Sainz Alfaro. Su actual concertino es
Stanislav Tkach.
La Orquesta ha realizado Conciertos Sinfónicos-Corales que han tenido lugar tanto en el Nuevo
Auditorio Internacional de Torrevieja, como en el ADDA de Alicante, abordando obras como El Mesías
de G. F. Haendel o el Réquiem de Mozart, obteniendo un gran éxito de público y crítica.
JOSÉ FRANCISCO SÁNCHEZ Profesor Superior de Oboe, Licenciado en Dirección por The
Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM).
Ha dirigido como invitado a numerosas agrupaciones, como por ejemplo la Orquesta Sinfónica de la
Región de Murcia (OSRM) o el Orfeón Donostiarra. Destacan los Conciertos de Antología de la
Zarzuela en el ADDA de Alicante, los Conciertos de Año Nuevo, el Concierto de Grandes Coros de
Ópera, Las 8 Estaciones de Vivaldi-Piazzolla, el Ballet Cascanueces, la 9ª Sinfonía de Beethoven…
Grabó para la Radio Clásica Portuguesa (RDP), incluyendo la grabación en directo del concierto para
violín de Tchaikovsky. También ha trabajado con violinistas como Gerardo Ribeiro (Estados Unidos),
Gousseau André (Francia), Zakar Bron (España), David Oistrak (Belgica).
Soloists of renowned prestige, such as Diego Tárrega (Tenor), Oksana Solovieva (Violinist), as well as
invited conductors, like Master Sainz Alfaro, have collaborated with the Orchestra. Its current first
violin is Stanislav Tkach.
The Orchestra has performed symphonic-choral concerts at the new International Auditorium of
Torrevieja, as well as in the ADDA of Alicante, undertaking works such as The Messiah by G.F.
Haendel or the Requiem by Mozart, with great success and acclaim by the public and the press.
Last July the Orchestra was very successful with the concerts it performed together with the Orfeón
Donostiarra (Chorale of San Sebastián) in Torrevieja, as well as in the ADDA of Alicante, in
commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Habaneras and Polyphony Competition of Torrevieja.
JOSÉ FRANCISCO SÁNCHEZ is Full Professor of Oboe, with a degree in conducting from The
Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM).
He has been a guest conductor of the Torrevieja Musical Union, the Symphony Band of the Superior
Conservatory of Music of Murcia, as well as with Choral and Orchestra Concerts with the Master
Casanovas Chorale, with the Municipal "Ricardo Lafuente" Choral Group of Torrevieja, and with the
prestigious Orfeón Donostiarra.
He has been very active, as is shown by his performances: the Concerts of the Anthology of the
Zarzuela in the ADDA of Alicante, the New Year´s Concerts, the Concert of Great Choruses from
Operas, the 8 Seasons of Vivaldi-Piazzolla, the Nutcracker Ballet.....
He is currently Professor of Chamber Music at the Manuel Massotti Littel Superior Conservatory of
Music of Murcia, and the Chief Conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of Torrevieja.
PEDRO FERREIRA CARNEIRO was born in 1977 in Santo Tirso, Portugal. He studied violin with
Joseph Camarinha and Alberto Gaio Lima. At the age of 15, he toured Brazil, playing in several cities
and receiving an honourable mention from the music conservatory in the state of Sao Pablo.
He won the Young Musicians Prize in both categories, middle level and superior level, in the Young
Musician Competition in Portugal. At the age of 19, he was invited to join the Classical Orchestra of
Madeira, continuing his violin studies with Yuri Kiritchenko. Later he studied at the prestigious
Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Kiev, where he was a disciple of Nikolaev Gorohov (disciple of
Yampolsky.)
Pedro Ferreira Carneiro has performed as a soloist in recitals in Portugal, Spain, France, Holland, and
the USA. He has played with the Algarve Orchestra, the Northern Orchestra, the Oporto Symphony
Orchestra, the Beiras Orchestra, the Remix Ensemble, the Remix Orchestra, the Portuguese Chamber
Orchestra, the Gulbenkian Orchestra, the Murcia Regional Sympnony Orchestra, and the Torrevieja
Symphony Orchestra, among others.
He has recorded for the Portuguese Classical Radio (RDP), including a live recording of Tchaikovsky's
violin concert. He has also worked with violinists such as Gerardo Ribeiro (USA), Gousseau André
(France), Zakar Bron (Spain) and David Oistrak (Belgium).
