ABSTRACT
There is now consensus that organizational climate and job satisfaction are fundamental
variables within the management of organizations. However, it is not clear what are the
specific effects of these variables on labor performance in general, nor on the specific
aspects of performance, such as normative behavior, productivity and social relations.
The objective of this study is to determine if the organizational climate and job
satisfaction are significant predictors of both job performance and its specific dimensions.
The organizational climate and job satisfaction questionnaires were applied to a total of
30 workers from the company Industrias Metalco S.R.L. Of the district of Ate. The
questionnaires were answered individually and in a single moment. In the completed
questionnaire we evaluated the External Factors, Psychological Factors, Underlying
Factors with respect to the organizational climate. Likewise we evaluate the Incentives,
the Work Environment and the Characteristics of the work with respect to job satisfaction.
It is evident that there is a significant relationship between the organizational climate and
job satisfaction. The Organizational climate predicts significantly the official behavior
and the personal conditions, whereas the satisfaction only predicts the Performance and
the Productivity.
