RESUMEN
SUMMARY
In this work, the author tries to schematize the mental states of the
addicted patient. He starts using two groups of ideas. On the first hand,
he uses the kleinian and postkleinian notions of “internal world”, “narcicist
organization”, “external world” and “internal and external objects of the
psychic reality”. On the other hand, he uses the concepts of “working
group” and the notion of “basic group organization”. The author ad-
vances the idea that the mental states of the addicted patient are
isomorphically related to her own psychic reality. The narcicist organi-
zation of the internal world, for example, is strongly linked to the
structure of the addictive sect.
As a consequence of this considerations, the author describes four
possible groups configurations: (a) the family group; (b) the teenager

group; (c) the addictive sect; and (d) the oscillation groups. He de-
scribes the characteristics of these groups and their internal relation-
ships. The discussion is focused on the confrontation between the
addictive sect and the family as a working group or basic group organi-
zation.
Finally, the author remarks the importance of the oscillation groups.
He affirms that the addicted patient oscillates, with strong conflict,
between the family and the tribal life of the sect founded on a threatening
culture of death.
