The most common information you give when you introduce yourself is:

Name: Hello. How are you? My name is (John).

Nationality: I am (American).

Occupation: I am an (English teacher).

Age: I am (50 years old).

When you introduce someone else, you commonly say:
(Cuando presentas a alguien más, comúnmente dices):

Ø Let me introduce (Susie Smith) to you.

(Permíteme presentarte a Susie Smith).

Ø This is (Susie Smith).

Ø This is my friend, (Susie Smith).

Other phrases you can use when you meet someone are the following:

Asking for personal information

Name: What’s your name? Asking for spelling: How do you spell (that)?
(Nombre: ¿Cómo te llamas?) (Preguntar cómo se deletrea algo: ¿Cómo deletreas eso?)

Place of origin: Where are you from? Nationality: What’s your nationality?
(Lugar de origen: ¿De dónde eres?) (Nacionalidad: ¿Cuál es tu nacionalidad?)

Asking for occupation: What is your job? Social status: Are you married or single?
What do you do? (Status Social: ¿Eres casado o soltero?)
(Preguntar ocupación: ¿Cuál es tu trabajo?
¿A qué te dedicas?)

Email: Do you have email? (Email) address: What’s your (email) address?
(Correo electrónico: ¿Tienes correo electrónico?) (Dirección de correo electrónico:
¿Cuál es tu dirección de correo electrónico?)

Age: How old are you? Telephone number: What’s your phone number?
(Edad: ¿Qué edad tienes?) (Número telefónico: ¿Cuál es tu número telefónico?)

When you say telephone numbers and addresses, we say “oh” for zero, and we
read number by number.
(Cuando proporcionamos números telefónicos y direcciones, usamos “oh” para
el cero, y leemos numero por número).

To say your email address, use:

@ = at (arroba)
. = dot (punto)
_ = underscore (guión bajo)
- = hyphen (guión)
