 INTRO.
By company’s headquarters / February 2011.
Israel
Shlomi Bitton nació y creció en Israel. Estudió
diferentes expresiones artísticas, en particular, el
arte de la coreografía (escritura del movimiento).
Durante sus 10 años de investigación profesional, ha
desarrollado una voz única y prometedora, y, ha sido
reconocido en Israel como uno de sus originales
creadores e intérpretes. Obtuvo primeros premios en
dos competiciones coreográficas en Israel, dos premios
del Ministerio de Cultura, como coreógrafo prometedor,
y se le concedieron ayudas del MASPA (escuela de artes
escénicas Kibbutz Gaaton, donde hizo sus primeras
creaciones, impulsado por la maravillosa Sra.Yehudit
Arnon), el Acco Theater Center, en su ciudad natal, donde
inició una plataforma de danza (la Hamama), la Asociación
Israelí de Coreógrafos, la Fundación de la Lotería de
Israel, la Fundación Sharet (Fundación Cultural América-
Israel), el Centro Suzanne Dellal, el Ministerio de Cultura
de Israel, el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Israel, y
de distintos festivales israelíes, centros culturales y
escuelas, que acogieron sus procesos creativos y sus
actuaciones.
El Mundo
En el plano internacional, Shlomi ha sido reconocido por
la lujosa iniciativa artística "The Rolex Mentor and
Protegé Arts Initiative", como uno de los 4 finalistas del
ciclo 2003-2005 (mentor: Saburo Teshigawara). Ha sido
invitado en competiciones internacionales en Holanda,
Alemania, Japón y España. Pasó por todos ellos de manera
destacada, y ganó premios (ver pág 8) en Alemania
(Hannover y Stuttgart - 3 premios) y España (Burgos,
Gran Canaria, Madrid - 4 premios). Ha creado para
compañías profesionales y escuelas/conservatorios
(Austria, Alemania, España e Israel), y para resumir, hasta
ahora, ha realizado giras en: Israel, la República Checa,
Polonia, Francia, Croacia, Austria, Alemania, EEUU, España,
Holanda, Italia y Japón (y el público, así como los críticos,
han quedado satisfechos ;-).
España - El presente
Afincado hoy en día en España, con base en Madrid, lleva
a cabo su camino de expansión, buscando la variedad que
el mundo ofrece. 
Desde finales de 2008, ha creado/compuesto música
original y canciones para sus propias creaciones, así
como pequeñas piezas de vídeos, retratando
personajes teatrales, escritos y dirigidos por él. Es la
consecuencia de su deseo y necesidad de jugar, de crear,
usando diferentes medios, mezclando distintas
disciplinas... explorando formas de contar historias.

Además de los premios obtenidos en 3 diferentes
certámenes coreográficos españoles, tuvo la
colaboración, durante 2010, de la Casa Sefarad Israel, la
Embajada Israelí en Madrid, la Universidad de Alcalá de
Henares, el Centro de Danza Canal en Madrid (como
compañía residente temporal), Mercat de les Flors, en
Barcelona, SNEO Mestizaje Projects, en Madrid (co-
productores actuales), y la reciente ayuda a la creación
otorgada por la Comunidad de Madrid. Todos ellos
ayudaron (y algunos siguen ayudando) a desarrollar su
última creación, una creación de tres etapas llamada
“The Teaser Trilogy”.
Shlomi también dirige su nuevo y apasionante taller/
classes, “Tú eres el creador”, un sistema de
entrenamiento, abierto y diseñado para una variedad de
profesionales y no profesionales de diferentes campos...
para todo el mundo :-). Ha sido profesor invitado en el
Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Madrid, en el
Institut del Teatre, en Barcelona, y en la RESAD (Real
Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático), Madrid.
El futuro
“Shlomi Bitton and Company" se encuentra en el
proceso de convertirse en una compañía estable, donde
sea posible.
Una nueva marca que promocionará a todos sus
talentosos colaboradores, nacional e internacionalmente.
Buscamos más ofertas, patrocinadores, ideas, sugerencias,
etc. :-), todo lo que nos ayude a continuar y llegar al
público que busca el placer que nosotros ofrecemos.
Shlomi busca constantemente maneras de ofrecer ideas
positivas e inspirar a la gente, a través de las artes
escénicas. Es un creador de los que entretiene, que desea
compartir, con todo tipo de personas, la idea de que
todos somos ¡“creadores”!, y de que la felicidad es
nuestro legado común (y la razón de que se produzcan
cambios positivos en nuestra realidad ) :-).

The third chapter of the ‘Teaser’ trilogy, exposed as a work in process for an open dialog with the wide
audience of ‘Centro Cultural Eduardo Urculo’, January 29th 2011, Madrid , Spain.
Supported by the Comunidad de Madrid (Madrid’s regional government), Sneo Mestizaje Projects
and Centro de danza Canal, Madrid.

Teaser 2: “Where you heading fool!?” - trio.

Mixing original music (Shlomi’s), dance, theater and live cinema (video). Premiered in Backstage
(BCSTX’10) Festival, Tantarantana Theater, Barcelona, june 2nd and 3rd 2010 (Mercat de les Flors
production). Developed in the ‘Canal Dance Center’ Madrid, Spain.

Stay together, it will be all over soon I promise – 16 dancers.

March 2010.

Teaser 1: “Corre, Shlomi, Corre!” - ( in english “Run, Shlomi, Run!”), 15 performers.

Created while residency period in Alcala de Henares University, Spain, and in collaboration with the
Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Madrid and its students. Premiered as guest company at the
23rd National Competition for Choreography (XXIII Certamen Coreografico de Madrid),
Madrid , Spain, December 2009.

Bidderman, in Bielefeld, Germany. A creation for 8 performers accompanied by 8 percussionists and 2
singers, based on “part 2- Drumming”- by Steven Reich. Premier on the 21st of April 2007, Bielefeld.
