O my God, relying on your almighty power and infinite

O my God, I love you above all things with my whole heart
and soul, because you are all-good and worthy of all my
love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of you. I
forgive all who have injured me and ask pardon of all
whom I have injured.
ACT OF FAITH
O my God, I believe that you are one God in three Divine
Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe that your
Divine Son became man and died for our sins, and that he
will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe
these and all the truths that the Catholic Church teaches,
because you have revealed them, who can neither deceive

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
Before I go to the Priest:
I will examine my life and behavior. If I have said or
done hurtful things, I will think about them so I can tell
them to the priest.
I will tell God I am sorry before I tell the priest my
sins.
While I await my turn I will pray silently.
When I go to the Priest:
The Priest will welcome me.
He will listen carefully, while I tell him my sins.
He will talk with me about my sins and give me a pen-
ance.
He will forgive my sins in the name of God and in the
name of the community.
When he tells me to go in peace, I will answer: Thank you,
Father.
PRAYER OF SORROW
O my God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In
choosing to do wrong, and in failing to do good. I have
sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I
firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no
more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Amen.
TRADITIONAL ACT OF CONTRITION
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee. I
detest all my sins because of thy just punishments, but
most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who are all
good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with
the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near
occasions of sin. Amen

Antes de ir con el Padre
