Ingles
to be
Sujeto + to be + not

The keys werent in the drawer. (Las llaves no estaban en el cajn.)
Todos los verbos dems:

queda en el infinitivo.
To be:
To be + sujeto?
Ejemplos:
Was she a doctor? (Era doctora?)
Were the keys in the drawer? (Estaban las llaves en el cajn?)
Todos los dems verbos:
Verbo auxiliar (to do) + sujeto + verbo principal (en infinitivo)?
Ejemplos

Omisin del auxiliar "did" en preguntas.
A veces un verbo que suele tomar "did" para formar preguntas se utiliza sin este
auxiliar. Cuando una palabra "wh" (what, when, how, where, etc. [qu, cundo, cmo,
dnde, etc.]) se refiere al complemento de la frase, utilizamos "did". Si la palabra "wh"
se refiere al sujeto de la frase, no hay uso del auxiliar. Esto es comn con las palabras
"wh": "who" (quin), "which" (cul/qu) y "what" (qu):
Who did you see yesterday? (who = complemento)
(A quin viste ayer?)
I saw John.
(Vi a John.)
