DENNIS FRALLEY- COMPUTER ENGINEER
After I graduated as a computer engineer fifteen years ago, I became a computer teacher at a school. I
loved teaching, and I still enjoy doing a few hours a week, but I found that most of the really interesting
work was in industry. I accepted a permanent job in the computer industry six years later. There I saw
that real problems are not in laboratories but in the places where products are made. So I moved into
building computers and computer programs. Three years later, I was an expert. I continue to teach but in
a different way, taking real life into the classroom.
I work about ten hours a day. I enjoy what I do so I don`t have a problem with doing some work at home.
I start by checking my e-mail before breakfast, do some work on the computer and then go to the office.
My days are very busy I read a lot and talk to many people. I consider that listening to others is very
important. In fact, many of my ideas have come to my mind when I`m doing that.
When I`m not working. I like listening to jazz and doing activities like writing this description of myself. I
also find that teaching and math problems are very good for keeping my mind going.
