A menudo digo que actualmente no solo vale saber ingls, tambin hay que
intentar ser bilinge.
Cul es la diferencia entre saber ingls y ser bilinge y por qu importa?
La diferencia es que un bilinge, en teora, puede decir correctamente una
expresin en ambos idiomas. Una persona que no es bilinge, tiene
problemas para hacer la equivalencia.
Y por qu importa?
Importa, sobre todo, si vas a trabajar en tu propio pas para una empresa
angloparlante ya que la persona que es autnticamente bilinge puede
expresarse correctamente en ambos idiomas sin caer en el Spanglish, es
decir, hablando algo que no es ni espaol ni ingls, si no una mala mezcla de
ambos.
A menudo, una palabra en espaol tiene varias traducciones al ingls, que si
no las sabes, pues te pierdes tanto al entender como al hablar.
Por ejemplo la palabra "Ms" puede traducirse de muy diferentes formas.
Quiro MS informacin. I want FURTHER/MORE information. Qu ms?

Llevo unas semanas posteando en Twitter y Facebookfrases bilinges que
muestran las traducciones de un trmino en espaol con diferentes
acepciones. Como este tipo de traducciones se han vuelto muy populares, he
decidido ir agrupndolas en el blog en un post.
Si decides aprendrtelas de memoria, recuerda que es muy importante
escuchar el sonido. Por tanto, te recomiendo las pongas en IVONA, o
software similar, para escucharlas.
