Rivers Ros
Rivers flow from a high area, such as a mountain, to a low area, such as a lake or the sea. We can
say a river has three stages or courses: the upper course, where it begins; the middle course, where it
moves through the land; and the lower course, where it joins the sea. Are there rivers in your local
area?
