ABSTRACT
This practice was carried out using mice (Mus musculus) easy to handle and very animals used for
laboratory experiments. For this we need to know the regulations necessary for the proper handling,
how to peritoneal and intradermal administration, besides autopsy methods for macrophages and
splenocytes. Macrophages are mononuclear cells that are characterized by their ability to phagocytose
and degrade particulate material, splenocytes are cells found in the spleen, and are the first line of
defense against foreign organisms and eliminating control degenerative processes and inhibiting
abnormal cell division within the organism. This paper aims to manipulate male mice of 6 weeks, for
peritoneal macrophages, alveolar fluid and bone marrow, spleen plus splenocytes for further
observation inverted microscope and cell counting using cameras Neubaer, respectively. The results
obtained showed the presence of macrophages by stimulating the mouse thioglycolate, and
splenocytes, of which a count was performed using a Neubauer chamber, having a total of 2,25x106
macrophages / ml in the bone marrow, macrophages 3,08x106 / ml in peritoneal fluid and 8,75x105
splenocytes / ml spleen.
1. INTRODUCCIN
engendrado y producido bajo condiciones
controladas, mantenido su entorno controlado
como
la
alimentacin,
ambiente,
antecedentes microbiolgicos y genticos
conocidos y existe una comprobacin
sistemtica de estos antecedentes (Instituto
Nacional de Salud, 2008).
Los animales deben ser manejados
adecuadamente para poder realizar diferentes
mtodos como los siguientes: administracin
de substancias las cuales pueden ser por
varias vas como subcutnea, intravenosa,
intradrmica, intraperitonial, intramuscular,
entre otras (Fuente, 2010).
La eleccin de la va depende del objetivo de
la investigacin que se va a realizar y el uso
