To Be present tense( traduccion verbo ser o estar en

presente)

conjugacion positiva: ( en rojo el verbo como se conjuga para las distintas

personas)

I - am ( i'm)

he / she / it - is (he's / she's / it's)

we / you / they - are (we're / you're / they're)

conjugacion negativa: (conjugacion negativa en rojo)

I am not (I'm not)

he / she / it  is not ( he's not - he isn't / she's not - she isn't / it 's not - it isn't)

we / you / they are not ( we're not - we aren't / you're not - you aren't / they're not
- they aren't)

las oraciones en ingles usando estos verbos tienen la misma estructura

que en espanol. ej:

Steve is ill. he is in bed ( steve esta enfermo, el esta en cama)

Anne and i are good friends ( Anna y yo somos buenas amigas)

your keys are on the table ( tus llaves estan en la mesa)

I'm tired ( estoy cansada)

Jane isn't a teacher, she is a student ( jane no es una profesora es una

estudiante)

ahora en ingles existen frases utilizando el verbo To Be que no tendrian

una buena traduccion al espanol usando el sistema de arriba, estas frases
no te quedan mas que aprendertelas de memoria. ej:

i'm cold ( la traduccion seria tengo frio, pero se usa el verbo To Be)
i'm hot ( tengo calor)
he is 30 years old ( el tiene 30 anos)
she is afraid of dogs ( ella le tiene miedo a los perros. fiajte que cada ves que
quieras expresar miedo a usas la expresion (am/is/are) afraid of. )
they are hungry ( ellos tienen hambre)
i'm thisty ( tengo sed)
she is angry ( ella esta enfadada)
I'am interested in music ( estoy interesada en musica) siempre se dice am/ is/
are interested in ....

entre otras.....

preguntando con el verbo To Be:

para preguntar con el verbo To Be se sigue como en el espanol:

en espanol dices: yo soy linda  I'm pretty

en espanol preguntas  ?soy yo linda?  Am I pretty?

fijate que el yo y soy cambian de lugar, cierto? lo mismo pasa en ingles/.

positivo pregunta

i am am I?
he / she/ it is is he/ she/ it?
we / you/ they are are they/ we/ you?

para hacer pregunta sigue la siguiente estructura:

Aca solo puedes Verbo conjugado Persona o cosa Etc, etc, etc
poner preguntas: de la que se habla
what- where- how
old- who- why-
how much- how
etc…
________________ + ______________+ ______________+________________

veamos varios ejemplos:

how is she? she is ok

how old are you? I'am 32 years old
what color is your car? it is red.
who is that woman in red? she is my friend?
Are you hungry? no, I'm not
are you tired? yes I'm
where is the cinema? it is on the 3 floor.
is she your daughter ? no she isn't
are these your keys? yes they are
where is lucy? Donde esta lucy?
why is it so expensive? Por que es esto caro?
how much are they?  Cuanto cuestan?
Is the cinema here? Esta aqui el cine?

nota y aclaraciones:

it: it es para todo lo que sea cosa singular plural. ( no persona)

they: significa ellos / ellas ( persona) ademas tambien se usa para cosas en
plural. ej: these post cards are nice. how much are they?

this : esto / esta / este.           these: estos / estas

that: eso/ esa/ ese / aquel / aquella                  those: esos/ esas/ aquellos/
aquellas.

here is: aqui esta para cosa

there is: hay / aqui esta para persona.

bueno esa la leccion uno, a practicar.

escribe un parrafo contando de ti,y tu familia, etc... usando lo aprendido: mira

abajo para el ejmplo:

hi, my name is juana, I am 23 years old, I am cuban, I'am from havanna. I am a

dentist and my sister is a student. my favorite color is Blue and i'm interested in
music.

luego para las preguntas:

ordena las siguentes preguntas: la primera ya esta hecha.

(sister/ she/is?)   is she your sister?

( is/ at home / your mother?)

(your parents/ are / well?)

(interesting /is/your job?)

(the shops/are/ open today?)

(from/ where/ you/ are?)

(interested in sport /you /are?)

piensa que hablas con alguien y tiene que averiguar los datos a continuacion.
