DEFINING RELATIVE CLAUSES (especificativas)

Aportan una informacin fundamental sobre el antecedente, as que no llevan comas
Los pronombres relativos son
.Who: Se emplea cuando el antecedente se refiere a una persona o a varias.
The man who is standing near the doctor is the director.
.Which: Se usa para referirnos a cosas.
The ring which she was wearing belongs to me
.Whose: Expresa posesin
The girl whose father is my friend lives in London
.Where: se emplea para referirse a un tiempo a un lugar
The hospital where I was born is in Valladolid
.When: hace referencia al tiempo: I remember the day when I met you
-who y which se puede sustituir por that
- cuando el relativo no funciona como sujeto, se puede omitir: The ring (which)
she was wearing belongs to me
NON-DEFINING RELATIVE CLAUSE (explicativas)
Aaden informacin extra, as que van entre comas. Se usan los mismos relativos, pero
no se pueden sustituir por that ni omitir
