Bulgaria fue reconocida como estado independiente en el ao 681, conviertindose en uno
los pocos estados independientes en Europa de su tiempo.
El primer gobernante de Bulgaria fue el khan Asparuh quien fund la primera capital blgara
en la ciudad de Pliska.
El nuevo estado estaba conformado por una mescla entre tacios y las tribus eslavas, las
cuales se asentaron en el siglo 5 despues de cristo acompaados de los protobulgaros
El Segundo Reinado Blgaro fue establecido en 1185 tras unas guerras organizadas por la
nobleza blgara
. La capital fue trasladada a Veliko Tarnovo
Desde 1990 Bulgaria es una democracia parlamentaria, como la mayora de los ex Pases del
Este que rompieron con el rgimen totalitario. El pas est en proceso de reformas
econmicas y sociales en vistas del ingreso de Bulgaria en la Comundad Econmica Europea
en 2007 y el prximo ingreso en la OTAN en 2004. El primer ministro actualmente es
Simen Sax-Coburgotta, del Movimiento Nacional Simen Segundo. Gueorgui Parvanov
del Partido Socialista Blgaro es presidente de la repblica.

Bulgaria was recognized as an independent state in 681, becoming one the

the republic.

Idioma
El blgaro ( , pronunciado [blarski zik]) es una lengua
indoeuropea de la rama meridional de las lenguas eslavas. Se escribe con caracteres
del alfabeto cirlico.
El blgaro es la lengua oficial de Bulgaria, tambin es uno de los idiomas oficiales de
la Unin Europea. Est ntimamente relacionado con elidioma macedonio por su
desarrollo socio-cultural e histrico. En su diversidad ha conseguido enriquecerse con
palabras arcaicas e internacionales, as como con palabras tpicas de cada regin
cercana a sus fronteras (Turqua, Grecia, Repblica de Macedonia, Serbia,Rumania).
Una tendencia a internacionalizar el fondo verbal y mejorar la compenetracin y el
entendimiento de las diversas culturas de la Pennsula Balcnica ha conseguido
homogeneidad en las formas de expresin.
